i thought i had one too...general belief is up to 7 days.

and you WILL know if you have one...

dont worry to much about redness and pain..maybe even warmth..


but if it becomes unbearable and hard underneath..than you know..


were your injections sterile?
is your gear clean?


are you running a fever?
 
ya, abcesses take some time to develop. any quick reaction is usually that, a reaction. still not fun though, I had a bad reaction to new gear, in 12 hours i was swollen, red, fever, night sweats. never again will i use questionable stuff
 
Be careful with the abcess if it doesnt clear up in about 12 days I would go see a doc. A tool at my gym was shooting some dirty ass Winstrol (winny) and got an abcess. Waited 3 weeks to go to the doc and it snowballed into a big problem.

Do you have access to any anti-biotics..eri-tab, amoxillian, so many better ones for that particular condition if needed I will dig up most people have access to some types of antibiotics from not using old scripts I usually try to keep some on hand.

I would try to ice and if passable start an antibiotic but I'm no Dr. so I don't wanna tell ya something and die only to get sick and die! lol j/k

If you do go to doctor only if you start to get a big lump tell him it was a bee-sting or steel whole from splinters grinding on grinder or some BS other than on-site with Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) to save insurance fromm having a bad mark... say anything other than from injecting drugs or be prepared to have a speech and embarasment..

I have never done this no of a hardcore bro on the boards (actually quite a few) who had abscess's and put 20 ga some used 18ga and drained themselves.

Hope you don't need to get cut open they leave a bad scar and keep ya out of lifting for a while because an abscess is cut and left open to heal to let drain so it heals from inside out and leaves on hell of a scar.
 
i recently had a HUGE deep lump in my ass which was painful to sit on, red, itchy, hot that developed starting about 2 days after a shot and got worse and worse for 4 consecutive days (first getting bigger then sorta hurting to sit on then red then itchy). it felt like a baseball full of compressed water deep in the muscle. 6 days after inj. it rapidly went away over the past couple days.. no worries.

when people say don't overly worry they mean it. this bitch cost me some sleep :/
 
so wqas one on my glute! had to sit was like 2 inches wide full 1 1/2 deep had to heal from inside out no stiches! (had to drain)
It took a long time to heal was like a damn pussy I could put 2 or 3 fingers deep inside of it.

A real pain when you have to sit down or sleep on side for 2 months.

I could smell the skin was like raw meat. Mine was much bigger and deeper than his was.
