Acne on cycle

I have retin-a cream which is used for treating acne.. Has anyone here used such cream for treating their increase in acne on a cycle? Did it work well?

Yea I use Apple Cider Vinegar direct application after the shower, and tanning. Had it bad before. Now it's all cleared up
