Advice for my first cycle

Hi guys, a novice here just looking for some advice. I've been thinking some time of doing a cycle in january to give me a headstart for the new year and to take me to the next level. I play gaelic football and soccer and am looking to build my upper body and improve my speed/power. I've been lifting irregularly for a few years and would be lifting for 3 nights pet week for c 2 hours per night, mainly working on my upper body and I will be doing pretty intense cardio two other nights per week as well as my 1 or 2 games at the weekend. Having researched these pages for a few months and spoken to users in the gym I reckon doing test e 250mg for 6 to 8 weeks should be sufficient for me to get the start I'd like as I stand to gain a lot from my first cycle. I'm 27 170lb and 5 11. From talking to guys and researching they reckon this cycle should see me gain from 10 to 15 lb and they think that the dose is so mild that I won't suffer any side effects and as such don't need to do a post cycle therapy (pct) as keeping my diet and working out will help me keep my gains? I'd appreciate some experienced advice here and would take everything on board. Thanks

Hello Irish,

as the first cycle 250mg/week of Test go well, I personally did 250mg/week of Sustanon, and I gained 20 pounds.
At these doses probably you do not have side effects and do not need an anti-estrogen during the cycle .... But I advise you strongly to do the PCT post cycle, because it is a large part of secrets to keep the profits.
Of course, you follow a diet rich in protein and low in fat, eat a lot but clean....and train hard!
 
you need a min of 500mg a week of test 250 is just not enough my man but grab a Aromatase inhibitor (AI) anyways man if your not testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) why the fuck 250mg a week, dont listen to Testola, dam your the first irish guy I heard say reckon

I'm running my first cycle on Test E only for 12 weeks. I'm four weeks in at 300mg per week and I have started to notice a increase in strength. It is on the low side but for my first cycle I wanted to see how my body reacts....at this stage I need a brazzer on speed dial!

Thinking of upping the dose to 500mg per week from week 6 on wards.

As all the lads will tell you here, make sure your diet in spot on, otherwise, it is a waste of time and money.

You should work your legs to get strength as this will help you break the tackle and include plyometrics at the same time so you don't lose speed with the increase in body weight.

definitely dont neglect your legs, since your gonna be doing alot of running just work them out for strength and endurance oppose to mass. cant do anything but help you, and if your upper body starts to get too disproportionate itll affect your balance and overall athleticism

go read all the stickies and you should have it all figured out by then. for PCT and everything. If you don't by then you will at least be able to come ask some good questions and understand everything more. It's a process but it helps a ton.
 
HCG, if you can find it is also a welcome addition. It keeps your nuts in shape for the post cycle therapy (pct) you will need at the end. I know a lot of guys who will not cycle without it.
