advice for young fat guy

So I know I shouldn't even be here bcuz I'm only 20, but just looking for some general advice on how to get results, or whatever help you can offer. I'm about 5'9 and weigh 235, and I'm pretty fat honestly but I look big with my shirt on and when I suck in my 39 in gut. haha. I used to be even fatter at 260. Anyway, I'm not sure I want to lose more weight because I know people at this weight and height who look pretty good. Can I lose fat and gain muscle without dropping weight or do I gotta cut more before I bulk up? also, what diet routine should I use?

I eat probably 3000 calories 200g of protein, maybe more. I dunno the rest of the break down but it's a lot of oatmeal and whole grain pasta now. been doing that to cut weight and it works because before my diet was like 4500 calories of mcdonalds and sugary crap.

I'm also not a complete newb to lifting as I was a lineman in high school and had to train in the gym over the summer and even winter. When I was at my biggest/fattest I benched 225 and squatted 275 for reps. Weak I guess but not a newb either. I currently do heavy bench press 5X8 once a week and squat 5X8 once a week and run a mile every morning. This is kind of geared to lose more fat and keep muscle, but I know I can do better. Just get tired if I lift too much more and run every day.

My friend told me I could use clen to lose fat and keep muscle but I am mainly looking for diet routine advice for now, but if there is a safe/not gonna fuck up my testosterone steroid or supplement to help with this I would be good to know. I read about Clen but would that mess me up too much at 20? I don't think that hurts my testosterone, right? but is it more dangerous for young guys? thanks

yeah, but what about Clen. I wasn't really considering much else at this point unless somebody had a recommendation. I know that because I'm fat I can have more problems with gear. also, isn't running every day cardio?

when you plateau you need to up your cardio. Clen is more effective once you get as low as you can without any help.

How far below TDEE are you eating? Could you up your cardio? Or add a lifting routine? You only mentioned 2 lift 2x a week.

There is Alot of good info here bro. First thing first remember there is no true short cuts. Ur not gonna take clen, or some other magic pill and it's gonna Do the work for u. Whether using a aid or going natural u have to get ur ass in the gym and go hard. Cardio, not maxing out, but going for 8-12 reps. Get ur heart rate up. U want ur body fat % to be around 15-16 before u even think of messing with anything. Also remember the truth is getting in shaoe and achieving ur fitness goals is 80% diet and 20% gym. Sounds corny but its the truest thjng anybody is ever gonna tell u. Now get ur ass in the gym! Ha. Oh and hit up 3j. Heard nothing but great results for him.

First and foremost...welcome to Ology. This is one of the best places on the net to get help with AAS-related topics. That being said, you are far from being able to effectively use AAS-related products. However, no better time now that to soak up as much information as you can regarding AAS, post cycle therapy (pct), thermogenics, etc.

I'll reiterate what has been mentioned regarding clen...clen will help you lose fat from ~8-10% bf down to help you get down 4-6% bf. BF% higher than 15%+ and you will not see any positive results of clenbuterol, but you will see all of the negative results. Do some research..do a search here at ology for clen. Read up on clen's profile at RUI. Research Research Research so that you are not regretting a decision.....And most important, head over to the diet section to get started on some great ideas to get your diet in check. The very best of luck, bro.

It's awesome you are posting here without already set intentions of running gear. Most new guys already have their minds set and will only read the advice they want to see. BUT PLEASE listen to what everyone has said here. Don't run clen, prohormones, steroids, nothing.

I'm saying this b/c I made a mistake of running a prohormone before I was educated enough and old enough. Luckily I was smart enough to give it up before it did any damage, unlike a lot of people I read in this forum.

If you are willing to spend some $, 3J (the ology nutritionist) is worth absolutely every penny. Go to the diet section. He also has great free diet advice in there. You'll get there bro...but read, educate yourself, and dedicate yourself. Consistency will create results. Set a goal for 6 months, fucking kill it, and see how much you change. Learn new forms of cardio and how to be effective with your cardio. You can lose weight simply through your diet also. Post a log and update your results, everyone is supportive around here.

Thanks for all the help. Part of the issue is I hear all sorts of different stuff the more research I do, and it was my friend who told me about Clen. He's much older and has run other stuff too, but he is like 10% also. I guess I'm still wondering if I need to just cut fat now or if I can also build some muscle too or at least hang on to what I have. I'm already starting to lose strength so worried about that. I can check out the diet section as that should help me.. idk about TDEE like I said I ate like crap before, now eating 3000 calories or so for past few months and dropped 25 lbs, and still dropping a little.

anyway, I'm for sure gonna skip the Clen if you all say it won't do anything at this point and I won't touch anything else aside from maybe a cheap fat burner. I know my cardio and routine can use work. I guess I could run more but I'm still losing weight with what I'm doing. Can also improve routine. But I find that when I lift every day I get super tired . think I could swing a 4 day split or something like that.

Awesome advice for a young guy trying to better himself... I have seen other forums where people just shit on the new/young/naiive like they shouldn't be there. Most kids these days don't care about this stuff anymore... raised indoors and TV / video game zombies.

gettingswolebrah - listen to them and soak it up, you will benefit from people who have been there. Remember that training intensity is key, keep the heart rate up. Oh... diet too :-)

Yep, nice to see people give this guy some useful advice. Seems like he is going to make some nice progress once he learns more. The only criticism I'd offer is the name "gettingswolebrah" lol, I wasn't about to give him the benefit of the doubt at first.
