Advice Please

I've been working out since oct. and i have made some pretty significant gains on my own. I bought mass and amino acid pills to help out, but i think i have reached a plateau. I have no diet because everyone that i talk to gives me HORRIBLE info. I have eveb been told to eat as much as i want, of whatever I want for a full day and then fast for 24 hours then eat and then fast. To me that makes no sense. I am not working out to be in body competitions, but I do want to look nice for all of my lady friends ;) so what advice do you all have for me for a diet to take the weight off and still put muscle on without completely starving myself or doing something radical.

Definately don't fast for 24 hours, thats the worst thing you could do. Whoever told you that doesn't know shit about bodybuilding or working out. If you hit a plateau you can take 2 different approaches: 1)training and 2) your diet. For training you can do a number of different things such as changing your workouts, changing reps, weight, routine, etc. For diet I'm not gonna get into specifics but you need to eat a lot of protein and try to eat clean food.
