Advice/strategies for getting dialed in?

Hey guys,
Been on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for 4 months now at 100 mg per week. I have been experimenting with 50mg twice a week and feel okay for the most part (some days good, some days tired, some days ok). However, I read many on here saying that it takes a while to get dialed in and to see what works for you.

My question is how do you go about getting dialed in and finding your sweet spot? I feel okay on 50mg twice a week, but would I feel better on 75mg or 100mg twice a week? Or should I mess with the dosing every week, such as 100 mg every 5 days or 75 mg every 3.5 days, etc? I know that it is just a matter of trial and error, but just wondering if you all had some sort of system such as starting at 50mg twice per week and seeing how you felt, then bumping it up to 60mg twice a week to see if you felt better.

My other question is what determines the amount that you are prescribed? When I see others on here prescribed 200mg per week, that seems like a lot to me. I was diagnosed secondary hypogonadism with TT at 185 ng/dl. For a 33 year old guy, that seems pretty low. Why are some prescribed more than others? Should I have been prescribed more? Thanks guys.

You need to get blood work down to see how you are responding to that dose. Read the testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) stickies and they will tell you how to get cheap labs run without having to go through your doctor -- and recommend which labs you get. Post your results once you have them and we will help you interpret them.
