The Game
I'm trying to find good food to eat, besides what I'm already eating. Right now all I eat is peanut butter, chicken, red meat, pasta, wheat bread, tuna, oatmeal, yams, bannanas, oranges, grapes, apples, veggies, and white potatoes(sometimes), and all I drink is water, and milk. If there is anything on that list I shouldn't be eating will you let me know. I just need something different, because I will not eat junk, but I would like to throw in a change.

I'm also on protein, and weight gainer.

all your foods are fine. if you are trying to get to really low bodyfat levels, some people might suggest getting rid of the bananas, white potatos (except maybe post workout), and milk.

If you are trying to gain weight, or just "eat healthy", then your foods are fine, but a little limited.

Well I'm 6'0 tall, and 170 lbs. I want to get up to a lean 200 lbs at some point. I eat 1 bowl oats, 2 or 3 bannanas, 3 oranges, 1 PB sandwhich, boxed chicken, and my old lady cooks up a big dinner everynight(meat, or chicken with pasta, veggies or potatoes). Tuna, yams , and other fruits 2 or 3 times a week. I work 12 hour shifts, so I don't get to eat as much as I should, especially snacks. Sometimes I have to throw together something quick for my daughter, and myself like boxed chicken, or corndogs. My schedule is very busy, so most of the time I find myself working out at 2 or 3 AM. I know that I'm not eating enough, what is some other stuff I could eat to make sure I'm getting enough cals.

I hate to break it to you but there is really no way around it. You must eat.

You can try pre-cooking your meals and keeping them in containers. You don't really have a "planned" out diet plan. It should be organized like:

Meal 1
Meal 2
Meal 3 to however many you like (6 is usually good).

Also, you have to figure out your goals right now. Are you fully bulking, lean bulking or cutting?

I will put together a plan, and on your question about if I'm bulking or cutting, I really don't know, because I have nobody that I really workout with, or anybody that knows anything about body building. Everybody that I deal with is unhealthy, and happy about it. My story is that when I put my mind to something I go after it, so three years ago I was working out at a gym for about six mths, and then my first child was born, and I got away from it, and then nine mths ago, I made my mind up that I wanted to get back at it, but a kid sqeezes your time, so I bought a home gym. I played football my whole life so I just hit the gym, and used the same workout program that we used in HS. I want to bulk, and cut, but I may be doing it the wrong way, because I'm cutting more than I'm bulking.

I'm glad that you have you mind set. It's the most important part. Now write down your goals, so you know exactly what you want to achieve and when.

Turkey, salmon and cottage cheese are also great protein sources. Check out the recipe section for some new things!
