after gyno surgery...

cant get BIG

New member
when running test after gyno surgery should u use the nolvadex from begining to the end of the whole cycle, or just have it on hand?

i would just have it on hand, if you wanted to run adex through your cycle thats alright too, still need nolva on hand though.

If you had gyno before that means your susceptible to it. Therefore, I'd be running nolva the whole time so as not to get it again. Anything you hear about not being able to get gyno again after surgery is FALSE.

That depends on the type of gyno surgery that you had, in most cases only the affected tissue is removed. In my case the entire mammery gland was removed in my right pec, I can never have gyno on my right side, regardless of what I run. However it's possible for me to get it on the left side as only a small amount of gyno was taken out.

Hate to disagree with ya bro but I've seen at least 3 guys that have had all of it removed "plus the mammary gland" and still got it again.
Seen about 8 or so total that had it removed but 3 that had the gland removed as well.

One of the guys posted what his doc said, who had done a ton of them. It's been a while but it was something along the lines of:

"Your chance of getting gyno again is 5-10%. However, that does not take into account of using steroids again. If you use steroids the chances jump to 30-50%."

So most of the time when the doc says you can't get it again because the gland was removed, or all of the glandular tissue, he's not taking into account that you're going to jump back on the sauce again.

sometimes they only remove 95-99% of the gland and some of the remaining tissue is used to fill in behind the nipps if they didn't your nipps would be caved in , they have to sculpt the area back to original form or close as they can get to it , i believe that you are definatly prone to getting it again in this case , however if the entire gland is removed they have to take fatty tissue from somewhere else and do a fat sculpt to make the area look proper .

They didn't get the entire gland then, if even a small amount of gland is left, gyno can reoccur.

what if you STARTED getting gyno during a cycle but was lucky enough to prevent it to develope further.Should one star with nolva from start in next cycle or just have it on hand?in my case (3 months off) it is a lump beneath my nipple and it wont go away right? should i worry on my next cycle?

I'm a paranoid mofo when it comes to that so I'd just run at least a low dose just to be cautious. Then if you feel something bump it up to 60mg.

Well, this came from someone else on Elite not myself so I can't verify it. All I know is he said the doc took out all the gland, etc and then he got it again. He was pretty pissed when he did too.

I know this is a little off the main topic but it's about gyno so I would like to ask...

At the end of my first cycle, in the last week, I started feeling a little pain in the left nip and a small lump formed under the nip. Nothing big or noticable in the mirror but I know it's there and sometimes if I catch it just right, it hurts a little.

Does this stuff usually clear up and go away if you just use Clomid in post cycle therapy (pct) and stop for a while or is it really necessary to use Nolva?

It may go away on it's own as I've heard the same thing from friends, but I'd be taking Nolva just to accelerate that process.

Yeah, dont forget you can get gyno slowly and without symptoms (until you diet and notice it, that is.)

if you had the entire gland removed gyno cannot reoccur... if you just get lipo it can / will return !

And you know this how? Cause I've seen people that have actually had it reoccur that would care to differ with you.

2 of my buddies had the surgury of the removal of the mammary gland ... gyno has never reoccurred...... 1 other bro had only lipo under th enipple and around the mammary glad... gyno reoccurred,,,, that s the case i am going by..... the docs said it as well... removal of the gland will not reoccur.... difference of gland removal is $2500 to $3500 more... but well worth it .....

Yeah but when most doctors say that they don't expect you to jump back on steroids again.

the whole point is that YOU CAN STILL GET IT even after the operation. So the best the to do is take ALL PRECAUTIONS so you wont get gyno again unless you got a nother few hundred dollers around for operation #2.
