alpha lipoeic acid

i just read an article that alph lipoeic acid makes creatine more effective the way that u make this happen is by mixing alpha l a with a small amount of sugar and creatine monohydrate by doing this it increases muscle creatine content tdhan just taking creatine by itself
 
yuppers, its a GREAT supplement to add in. a very powerful antioxidant as well. do a search on it
 
Does anyone else here feel that their blood sugar gets pretty low when taking ALA? When I am taking the stuff I have to eat carbs all day or else I get all spaced out, kinda weird.
 
when i first started taking it, i would get tired right after... i can only guess it was due to low blood suger
 
Great, great stuff IMO, but only to be used while cutting.
I have VISIBLE results using R-ala.

gotta disagree, its a good all around supp that should be taken whether cutting or not... its a great liver protectant, anti oxidant, and insulin mimicker among other things...

Yes, it's a great product, but if someone is experiencing hipoglicemic-type effects I would suggest the use of alcar instead.
I don't use R-ala while bulking because I don't need to stay lean all year long, and it's not cheap too.

Yes I get itred to I really noticed it when I was driving a long distance ((long haul trucker ) Had to stop and sleep on a run I'm used to making
 
for me, that side seemed to go away after a while, which has been the case with everyone ive asked that continued it... now it actually seems to energize me
 
if when taking ALA you feel near a state of sleep, then you are most likely taking too much ALA to the amount of carbs ingested, causing very low blood sugar levels.
 
Yes ALA WILL put that creatine in your muscles ,,,,,,,,,,I tried the stuff it ok ,,,but shooting bit of slin H-r followed by creatine drink.......... 30 min before workout gave me more energy ,,,,than again downside to slin is ,,,,,,,,,,,,, slin you will gain some fat if you have high cal intake.........
