someone else had asked this question in the "Anavar defined" thread, but I didn't see that it had been answered before the thread was closed....
How does anavar interact/interfere with birth control?? (specifically etonogestral/ethinyl estradiol) would it decrease the effectiveness of the birth control? or is the main concern just having the estrogenic effects along with the effects of anavar?
I'm not using aas, but i'm curious.

It wont decrease the effectiveness, if thats the question. I dont like the idea, if you think about it AAS is telling your body its a man and usually stops your period ( with increased test), BC is telling your body its prego and usually stops your period = fucked up hormones. GL anyways.

thanks miss muscle! lol
yea its nuvaring... however i'm only considering aas for down the road and i don't know what bc i'd be using then. In all honesty i don't care to have my period another day of my life (though it is a sign of good health). so basically you would gain some lean mass, but you would probably store fat as well?

anabolics (except insulin) will not encourage fat storage, especially anabolics typically taken by women (var, Winstrol (winny), primo, etc.)... if that is what you are asking.

Yes, but would the synthetic estradiol cause fat storage while the anabolics would aid in muscle gain (if the birth control is taken simultaneously with anavar)? or would the effects of the anabolic overpower the effects of the estradiol and reduce fat storage?

anabolics will not aid in fat loss. any fat gain from estradiol would have to be lost just like any other bodyfat, regardless of anabolic use.

I have a question...

I have been training for the last 8-9 years, but very serious in nutrition and weight training for the past 5 years, I have done sports since a little girl...

2 years ago I decided to take something to get me cut, I actually did bcs someone convenced me that would help me...

I did 1 cycle of one pill a day of Winstrol (winny) for 4 weeks and I got great results,
I got blotted in the first 2 weeks but then I started cutting out after that...
but the results were amazing... anyways I felt I didn't do the right cycle and dosages...

since that time I haven't done anything else other than training and eating well.
I'm 5'8" 145lb 25 years old and train 4-6 times a week depending how is my schedule changes...

I gain around 4 pounds for the last 4 months because I stated taking birth control pill and I was able to keep my training as I was before bcs of some personal reasons...

Now I'm back for real training hard as always, eating well and I feel I need to take something again, I actually look better with those extra 4 pounds, and I would like to just get ripped; I want to COMPETE this year but I have no ideia about cycles and competition diets...

what cycle should I do??
what should I take??
dosage??

Can I take it while in BC or should I stop taking BC.??
I was thinking either taking Winstrol (winny) again, var or I also read about Primo...

Any advices PLEASEEEEEEE??

Take care

Hey, this has nothing to do with anavar, but does anyone know if taking nolvadex would have any effect on estrogen containing bcp's. I take "seasonal." I'm just trying to loose the rest of my post 2nd baby weight. Already did a few months of anavar. Done now. Thanks for any advice!

Yes the nolvadex will effect your BC if it is estrogen based, if it is a mini pill or shot or IUD it will not. But if your body is lacking estrogen you probably can't get pregnant anyhow.

I'm not sure if this has been discussed but their has been studies done on women athletes taking birth control. The outcome of most of the studies is consistent. Women on birth control gain less muscle and hold more body fat. If you would like these studies contact me I have copies of the medical journals.

I would recommend anyone who is considering AAS to Not use birth control, it can cancel out the AAS. Get an IUD if you don't want Children for a long period of time. Look into ParaGard It's hormone free, and although it is not used as often in the US it is the most common birth control in the World.
