Another run with DNP

This is my 2nd log with DNP. First time sucked to say the least, middle of the summer in the Southeast with 90+ degree days every day. February is a G R E A T change of pace for running DNP.

I started on Monday 2/14 and I am running the DNP for 14 days.

Thus far the scale has gone from 215 to 210 in just 4 days. So far so good.

If you have read my previous DNP log I had some issues before. Trying to counteract those this time. My last cycle ended abruptly with a massive breakout (bodily rash) caused by the DNP. Took me literally 2-3 weeks to get over it, so I'm praying to god it doesn't happen again. I am running 50mg Benadryl nightly, along with Quercetin and VitC. I would advise this to *anyone* using DNP. **I'm also running the same batch of DNP previously used**

I am much less sweaty and warm than I was back at the end of summer on my last run. I have been doing a very lean bulk for the past 2 months on Test E/Tren E/Deca. I am still running all 3 at Test 750/Tren 400/Deca 450 per week. I usually take Adderall but I have ceased it for the duration of my DNP cycle as DNP+TREN+ADDERALL sounds like an awfully bad idea due to potential dehydration. I can tell a difference in how thirsty I am from running the Tren alongside the DNP. I drink 2 bottles+ of water over my 8 hour "sleep" period ( I say "sleep" because I'm waking up every hour to two hours to piss and drink more water).

Regardless of the addition of the Tren, I am still much happier thus far than I was in my summer cycle. I honestly believe that when I'm doing my cuts (PRE-spring) I will use DNP. And stay away from it (and Tren) in the hotter months of the year. Both make me sweat too easily and too much. Last summer I never saw my friends (who hung out at bars, nightclubs, music venues) because the places they hung out at were just too damn hot. I would go to a bar and come out looking like I took a dip in the pool with my clothes on. It wasn't pretty, going to avoid the pitstains and nastily sweaty hair this year.

Also seperate from last cycle I am running my DNP at a 200mg morning dose and a 200mg dose 8 hours later. Last run I just took all 400mg in the morning and said fuck it, and 3 days I ran 600mg (AWFUL). Spreading the doses out will spread out your "hot flashes" as I call them, so that they aren't so intense at one time. I recommend that anyone using DNP do the same, you're doing yourself a favor.

I'll continue with my weight loss results and general updates on how I'm feeling so you guys can get a better idea of how DNP affects you, incase you want to try it someday. I'm only on my 4th day and all of my bodily fluids are yellow. Sweat/semen etc. DNP makes me somewhat moist all over in general, so you get that kinda "havent taken a shower in a while" funk a lot quicker than you would otherwise. I take like 2 cold showers a day and scrub down so my girlfriend will let me sleep in the same bed as her.

Any DNP related questions, shoot em at me on this thread. I'll try to answer what I can on things I don't mention in my log.

PS - Calories are at MAINTENANCE with carb sources primarily coming from FRUIT and the milk used in my shakes. (Less than or equal to 150g per day carbs) I recommend fruit as the primary carb source to users running DNP. It burns much quicker than other food sources and is out of your system quickly, thus flushing out that DNP heat sensation you get from eating. I'm not eating *ANY* slow burning carbs like oats, whole wheat, etc., as these tend to (for me at least) increase the duration of which I sweat and feel like dogshit after consuming them.

Down another lb today for a total of 6 apparently.

Limited my carb intake drastically today because my girlfriend wants me to get THAI food of all things for dinner tonight. Noodles are going to fuck my world up for a couple of hours. :(
 
interested in seeing exactly what your diet is while on this...can you log exactly what you eat in a perfect day for you?
 
Breakfast 8:30am: 3 raw eggs/3 scoops Dymatize Gormet Protein/2tbsp peanut butter/1 banana (blended)

Lunch 11:30am: 10oz Tyson chicken breasts w/1 cup steamed veggies

Mid-afternoon snack: 2:30pm: 3 raw eggs/3 scoops Dymatize Gormet Protein/2tbsp peanut butter/1 banana (blended)

Dinner: 5:30pm: 2 grass fed beef patties w/ cheese, usually doused in ketchup. A bunless hamburger basically.

Pre-bed snack: 3 scoops Dymatize Gormet protein, 2tbsp peanut butter (i forego the banana due to not wanting the late night carbs). (blended)

It's a pretty simple diet. I get about 65-70g of protein per shake, and around 50g of protein in my whole-food meals. My main carb source on DNP is fructose (in the bananas) and the rest usually comes from the milk with my shakes, and whatever I may eat. This is a normal day for me. sometimes i will eat something like Chick Fila chicken strips for lunch if I'm on the go, not *too* bad for me by any means. Fat sources are the PB mostly, my chicken and grass fed beef is very low content fat. Beef is 93/7. At 215 this equates to around maintenance for me and enables me to lose a good amount of weight on DNP. My workouts are very simple and I drop my weights by about 50% of my max and go for 10-15 reps and only do 1-2 sets per exercise. Don't try to get stronger or bigger while on DNP, its a waste of your time and energy. I also walk 3 miles around my neighborhood 2-3 times per week. Its cool at night right now, and DNP burns about 150% more calories than you normally would while exercising, so my not even BRISK walk is burning more calories than an all out sprint, without wasting muscle.
 
why were you running the adderral ?

I take Adderall XR for ADHD. The cessation of the drug made me feel like total shit, had withdrawal headaches for a few days, but now I seem to be OK. While I *do* need the medication, I did not want to risk the combination of the other two drugs (DNP and Tren) which both cause issues from dehydration and thirst, with a stimulant like Adderall that does the same thing. I'm already drinking so much water I doubt I could get anymore down in a day. I drink 2 to 3 bottles of water DURING the night while I'm "sleeping". Every time I wake up I feel the need to chug half a bottle of water because of how dry my mouth and throat are.
 
Muscle soreness is a sure bet with DNP. Went on a 4 mile walk last night around a really big neighborhood, and my legs and feet were on fire when I was done, just from a walk.
 
Adderall really helps with the massive amount of fatigue you get from dnp too, I try to run them together when I can.

My heating bills were way lower this year because of running dnp. I think I have just figured out how to save the world!!

Definitely. I believe I saw a story on how DNP was given to Russian soldiers during WWII during the coldest months of the year to keep them warm. I'm sure it worked pretty well! My biggest issue is my girlfriend being cold all the time, and me being HOT as hell all the time on DNP. I want to scream when she reaches for the knob to turn the heat on in my car.
 
Scale says I'm down beween 9 and 10lbs today. 9 to 10 lbs in a total of 7 days. Wow. If it keeps up it'll rock my last cycle. My diet has been clean of all junk food and my carb sources have been much more limited than they were previously. It most definitely makes a world of difference. In the end it comes down to how much physical pain you can endure (the lazy DNP users) and how clean you can keep your diet (the non-lazy DNP users). Some people will tend to up their dose higher so they can eat whatever they want and still lose. I think a dose of 400mg is PERFECT and no more should be needed in any case, as long as you are keeping your diet clean. Which you WOULDN'T think would be that hard right? DNP cycles are pretty short.

Nah. Within a week I'm back to my pre-DNP strength levels, and I've never noticed actual muscle loss. Since DNP is protein sparing and I am taking in about 300g a day, I'd find it hard to believe I was losing much, if anything.

Now with T3...definitely lost muscle on that. And I was weak as a kitten for weeks after ceasing use. Thats why I switched to DNP in the first place.

good God son thats awesome, and what is your goal again while on DNP? I know you said you are running it for 14 days right? but how much weight are you looking to lose in those 14 days.....also do you allow any cheat meal or anything while on the dnp?

A cheat meal in a normal diet is a break from routine. Somethin you've been craving or whatever. A cheat meal on DNP is asking to be a hot, sweaty mess for the next couple of hours. I weigh the pros and the cons and say "Fuck that," lol. Some days for lunch I get a 4 count Chick Fila Chicken Strip. If you consider that a cheat meal, then ok. 450 cals 18g carbs 41g protein, somethin like that. Not much of a cheat.

My usual cheat meals would be something sweet like a heaping bowl of icecream or a hot fudge sundae or somethin like that. On DNP I'm going to forego these type of things because they make me feel like a piece of crap.

As far as my goals go, I don't have a hard number I'm shooting for. Lose the most I can. 5 more pounds and I'll be right at 200 and shredded. Can see my 6 pack now when I flex, top 4 when I'm not flexing. Hopefully the last few pounds will bring them all together.
 
Barely crept over 30 degrees today as the high. It was weird too because I did not feel any DNP heat episodes for more than a few minutes. Stayed pretty cold actually.

About 2 days after ceasing use I up my carb intake for 3 days. 300-400g. A lot of people say "600g for 3 days" but 500-600 just seems like way too much for me. I always run gear on DNP just to be safe, right now its Test/Tren/Deca. When I do my post DNP re-fuel I start adding my complex carbs back in and drop the fruit I was using for my main source of carbs during DNP use. So oats, flax, whole wheat etc. Basically after DNP I'm back on my normal diet consisting of only whole grains for the most part. Protein intake goes back up some too. I tend to slack a LITTLE while using the DNP because I know I am not making any gains while on it, so throwing down 350g a day seems like a waste of protein powder and food to me. Im usually more like 200-250g a day while on DNP. Never had any muscle loss that I can account for from this.
 
Trying to decide if I want to extend this run a 3rd week. The weather has stayed pretty cold most of the time and I've been relatively comfortable despite being on DNP. Only time I'm outta control sweating is during a workout, as I'm keeping the diet very clean.

For any of you guys who want a better break down on DNP and how its working for me:

I'm around 200lbs now, consuming roughly 2500 calories per day. With DNP boosting my metabolism around 50%, I should come out with a total of 1250 calories per day (this is not counting exercise). This comes out at 8750 calories per week, which in theory should be burning 2.14lbs of pure fat alone. (A lb of fat is 4086 cals) Add in the fact that I'm walking 2-3 miles per day and still maintaining a relatively normal M/W/F split at the gym, using about 150% more energy than usual during exercise due to the DNP...lotsa fat is being burned. Can't wait to see the final number after the water drops off. If I run a 3rd week I expect to be under 10% bf. Would be the first time for me, I usually hover around 12-13% and 15% bulking.
