Anthony Clark RIP

This evening around 6:30pm Anthony passed away from a heart attack. His Memorial will be set up soon in Clear Lake, Tx, on Tuesday or Wednesday. I bet Anthony is putting up some BIG WEIGHT in HEAVEN. God bless you Anthony and your family too.
 
That sucks . . thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Do we know how old?

this freaking sucks . he was the world record holder of bench press for many years for those who dont know him and he did it REVERSE GRIP
 
Yep, after injuries he felt it was his way to honor God and become noted. So he said from one interview anyway.
 
Don't know if it was anabolics that killed him, no evidence to say that, but I would certainly bet that he has taken them in the past.
 
I know that Anthony turned down a challenge for a full power competition between an Olympic lifter, which was to be a tested competition between the two of them. I didn't know the man so I wouldn't happen to know if he was natural or not. I know that Shawn Lattimer has been tested and put up I think 847 in competition, it says on his site for those who want to peek.

Either way, Anthony was a big guy and from his roots a lot of those guys have heart issues from their diets. So if he WAS on anabolics, I'm sure that didn't help, but I would never blame it completely on that alone.

Powerlifing is not bodybuilding, thier are tons of strong people who never juice, sorry to burst your bubble.

just goes to show what ignorance can lead to. to think that the only way one can get big and strong is thru the use of Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) is just rediculous. triz juiced and didnt even look like he workd out.

i can name several big time plers who have never juiced and still set record after record.

i didnt know abombs/dbol/deca/tren/etc. were naturally occuring :laugh3:

i dont know personnaly if he ever used gear or not but he was a very large guy and had heart trouble so its very likely thats what caused his death , may he RIP
