Anti TRT commercials?????

improperly taking hrt drugs can be dangerous.
Most doctor don't monitor patients and they end up causing more harm then good.

But if taken properly, I've yet to see one study proving ill effects.

Ever since AndroGel hit the market, it seems there are more docs who aspire to be super stars and are jumping on board with progressive medicine to take advantage of financial incentives that are up for grabs. Since products like AndroGel don't involve the use of needles e.t.c. more docs are taking advantage to treat their patients with this type of preparation. Most docs are un educated in the science of TRT and treat it as though they are just prescribing another antidepressant. Raising Testosterone also raises HCT and Estradiol which then in turn raises BP, increases Risk of blood clots, bph e.t.c.
Most docs don't even test for Estradiol when treating their patients with Testosterone let alone see the importance of managing Estradiol in a properly tuned in TRT protocol.

This might be the wrong thread to ask this but how does the Doc benefit if he prescribes me testosterone? In my case, I initially chose testim instead of injectable. I filled the prescription at my choice of pharmacy. I don't see how the Doc would get a kickback or benefit from this.

It's not supposed to happen, but pharmaceutical companies do find ways of rewarding doctors for prescribing their products. Sponsored professional workshops in exotic locations, golf invitations with reps, etc. Not saying that is true of your particular doctor.

Oh, I will say it's true! My wife works in the industry. They and nurses downright demand lunches, dinner, drinks, free products for them or family. I could go on and on. It really pissed me off when she was 100 percent commission and she had no budget. $2,000.00 devices out of her paycheck for the docs shit head nephew or he was going to switch to a compeitior!! I was there or the phone call and he didn't care one bit it would come out of our pocket. I was talking to a rep, my in refrecne another medical procedure that it looks like I am going to have to have done. The rep and I were taking about this same thing. Appearntly the doctor who screwed it up the first time called him out of blue and demanded he buy a a new medical book that just happened to cost $5 grand. It had nothing to do with his products or procedures related to their products. The rep said he ha gotten so greddy they stopped calling on him. They didn't want his business with the lines he was crossing.
Now go to the other spectrum and you have reps that will cross the line to get their products pushed.
I have only met one doctor who has a don't ever call me policy for reps. He literally does the I'll calm you when I need you and other then that I don't want to hear your sales or anything from you. But most of my docs there's reps lined up at the office with lunch etc waiting to see doctors. At any given time there's medical conferences being sponsored at ski resorts if it's in season , Disney Land, Vegas etc. they are all being hosted by medical companies. The dinner and drinking is being payed for by said complanies and reps are there taking docs and or nurses out.

My doc told me we didn't need to monitor my e levles. My Hemocrit was through the roof and again he never said a word. I was old school with gear use (20 years ago) so I didn't know any better either. I learned what needed to be corrected from here and a sponsor. I've also read the FDA bs and damn there's a lot that isn't being said and other factors that should have been looked at too. But it woke up the cockroaches either way.

The cockroaches have smelled some blood and are looking to make bank right or wrong even at the expense of screwing up much needed trt. The fires hot, they know it and the more law suits they can get settled before they realize hey this study wasn't done right and there's other factors too they still made there money so they don't care.

Some might even help out with the office rent....
buy the doc a new laptop....e.t.c.
