Anxiety and or insomnia and Pregnenolone

Has anyone here had anxiety and or insomnia with the use of pregnenolone? I am trying to figure out what is causing my higher level of anxiety and insomnia since starting TRT and aside from testosterone I have added DHEA and pregnenolone and wonder about the pregnenolone.

Anyone with input?
 
What dose of preg? If I go to high, my sleep gets shifted much later. Lower doses actually help me sleep. I take 20 mg / day sublingual troche. 40 made my sleep worse.
 
I've never noticed a TRT protocol using pregnenolone before.

Might have to read up on that.

Ahhh, looks like using HCG keeps the testes producing pregnenolone.

Preg is good to 'backfill' the pathways when on TRT. HCG raises pregnenolone.

What form of preg are you taking? Cap, troche, cream? Oral swallowed has the least bioavailability by far, but people can find it very stimulating. Dr Sahelian, who wrote a lot about preg, said some people can't even go over 5 mg. Non TRT purpose of course, but still.

I would try 10mg preg and see what happens. The only real way is trial and error. If no change, then you know its not that. Also when you're on DHEA as well as preg, the amount required for both reduces.

50mg/day of DHEA and 30mg/day of Preg. Both are caps.
 
DHEA and Pregnenolone. Why do you use it when your not using HCG?

Your shut down your not going to use it.

Basically he asked me if I plan on having more children. I said no. He said I can do HCG or supplement with DHEA and Preg in leu of.

I'm thinking about ditching the DHEA and Preg and doing HCG. Thoughts?

8 months of no testosterone or any kind of anabolic steroids. My Testosterone levels are high. 870 with free testosterone at 24.6. LH is <0.07
