Any point to adding DHEA and Pregnenolone to HCG

Already on HCG and definitely feeling the benefits from it. I've read that HCG acts as a precursor for both DHEA and Preg. So is there any benefit to adding additional DHEA or Preg?

I asked a similar question not to long ago and the answer I got was all 3..... compliment each other.

I'll be finding out.....hcg and preg is on order and already have dhea.

Definitely. HCG alone is rarely enough to keep both of these hormones back filled at a healthy level.

i agree with jomamma

Great product to add, but its key to get micronized pharm grade, I have seen a lot of products that barely raise serum levels

basically cholesterol gets converted to preg, then preg into DHEA, TSH and cortisol. It is pretty much the mother of all hormones.

HCG stimulates the p-450 enzyme which is the regulator of this process.

Can you give some examples/brand names of the pharm grade dhea and prey? Or what to look for on the label?

I have "Spring Valley" dhea 50mg tablets.... its what I could find local.

The hcg I ordered is corion brand 5000iu.

Can't remember off the top of my head what preg I ordered.

The topical cream is the best, anything going through the liver is gonna get chewed up. Usually when I see labs on guys that do the orals, there is only a 10-20 bump in serum levels.

I personally get mine from IMT, its pharmaceutical grade. Sorry I couldn't help with brand names, everything I get is from a compounding pharmacy.

My cholesterol has always been really low, as in below the reference range. So if DHEA and Preg are made from cholesterol, I could be low in both. Might explain why I still suffer from fatigue.

Same with me MBB. I've always had a total cholesterol of around 119 regardless of outside factors.
Also had low dhea.

Began supplementing with micronized DHEA and Pregnenonlone and I went from around 120 to 430 with a range somewhere around 100-500.

Some people don't respond well to orals and some to creams. Only one way to find out.

I used micronized slow releasing DHEA and Preg from DHEA dot com
I'd test your levels before supplementation, but a good starting dose is 50mgs of each per day.

Also don't expect to feel a boost like you do from HCG. These two hormones are very subtle but they're doing wonders.

I've had DHEAS tested = 7.8 (3 - 10), what's the difference between that and DHEA? Maybe I just need Preg?
