Anyone got any 1st hand use on X Factor?

Referring to the testosterone booster that uses the scientific name for PEANUT OIL as the active ingredient for its anabolic properties?

If so, I haven't - but I prefer to spend my money on actual things that really do what I expect them to. ;)

If it's something else, please clarify without any links if possible. :)

This one looks like a better study.

Abstract
BACKGROUND:
To determine the impact of AA supplementation during resistance training on body composition, training adaptations, and markers of muscle hypertrophy in resistance-trained males.
METHODS:
In a randomized and double blind manner, 31 resistance-trained male subjects (22.1 +/- 5.0 years, 180 +/- 0.1 cm, 86.1 +/- 13.0 kg, 18.1 +/- 6.4% body fat) ingested either a placebo (PLA: 1 g.day-1 corn oil, n = 16) or AA (AA: 1 g.day-1 AA, n = 15) while participating in a standardized 4 day.week-1 resistance training regimen. Fasting blood samples, body composition, bench press one-repetition maximum (1RM), leg press 1RM and Wingate anaerobic capacity sprint tests were completed after 0, 25, and 50 days of supplementation. Percutaneous muscle biopsies were taken from the vastus lateralis on days 0 and 50.
RESULTS:
Wingate relative peak power was significantly greater after 50 days of supplementation while the inflammatory cytokine IL-6 was significantly lower after 25 days of supplementation in the AA group. PGE2 levels tended to be greater in the AA group. However, no statistically significant differences were observed between groups in body composition, strength, anabolic and catabolic hormones, or markers of muscle hypertrophy (i.e. total protein content or MHC type I, IIa, and IIx protein content) and other intramuscular markers (i.e. FP and EP3 receptor density or MHC type I, IIa, and IIx mRNA expression).
CONCLUSION:
AA supplementation during resistance-training may enhance anaerobic capacity and lessen the inflammatory response to training. However, AA supplementation did not promote statistically greater gains in strength, muscle mass, or influence markers of muscle hypertrophy.

Effects of arachidonic acid supplementation on training adaptations in resistance-trained males. - PubMed - NCBI

Molecular Nutrition - X Factor it is Arachidonic Acid (Arasyn)

Arachidonic Acid = is a polyunsaturated omega-6 fatty acid .

wow, what a break through . who would of known that 'fats' (the building blocks of hormones in the body which are needed to make hormones like testosterone) have the potential to increase testosterone production . wohoo

""However, AA supplementation did not promote statistically greater gains in strength, muscle mass, or influence markers of muscle hypertrophy""

no surprise there. thats because an increase in natural testosterone production does NOT equal more anabolism, hypertrophy, or better performance.. heck even if the supplement, i.e., Peaunut oil . was proven that it would without a doubt reaise natural test levels by 10%, that increase would do nothing for increased hypertrophy/ muscle gain

i know what it is.. that's not what i am asking. im asking for the opinion of users of the exact supplement i listed.

if it is a natural testosterone booster .. it may work very well for increasing natural testosterone a few points . but , even so, if it does that , what benefit will that give you in the gym, athletic performance, strength, or muscle building ?

if you want to impress someone with slightly higher testosterone levels on a blood test, then I'd say go for it and spend the money . if you want to look and perform better though, don't waste the $

not looking for anything that requires a pct and such. natty supps more or less. something like sarms would be a last resort and really not sure about that either. i dont need anything thats going to be a huge transformation .. a little bit of leaning and sure some small gains would be nice. im already doing well. i just want the extra touch.

i agree tho.. this does not sound like something i would want to waste my money on. The reason i had made this thread. Im just trying to dig up info on things i have read about online, some people have made some claims of pumps lasting forever and overall just mean pumps and more vascular. i wasnt sure about all that so i asked here. thought maybe the 1500mg a day for 50 days could possibly have an effect. i didnt know. thanks for the replies.

if the 'proprietary blend' , which they do not say what ingredients are in the blend, but obviously there is at least 'fatty acids' in there (because that is what the product is), , but if it contains some salt on top if it , they yeah, you are going to get some vascularity and pumps in the gym.

OR, you can just eat some heavily salted salmon and an avocado, or macadamia nuts with more salt, and maybe some white rice to carb it up, pre-workout and achieve the same thing (Old school vascular pump).

anyone with a dietary deficiency of omega 6 fatty acids may find some benefit from this product though , I will say that at least.

Food is the most anabolic thing you can put in your body .. if you looking for an 'edge' then look to your diet first and foremost

Yeah, it's peanut oil. Waste of money. :)

Edit: Wow, I missed a lot of replies somehow. You have to remember when reading reviews, that it's very common to have testimonies from folks that are representing the company (or have a vested interest) and are simply employing a market by implying one exists.

This is why the FDA requires them to put VERY specific phrasing on marketing that can *imply* a specific effect, but cannot state that it does outright. The supplement industry is just as shady as any other, they want your money - pure and simple.

Roush stated a fact about food, I'd look there if other means aren't on the table.

hhahaha i remember i was given a box of it once, over priced/hyped crap IMO.

OP try these:
2g taurine powder ed
3-5g creatine powder ed
2-3 protein drinks ed
whole food multi vitamins ed
lots of healthy fats (ie; add olive oil to everything)

^^^ you wont need a pct for this , its good for you AND will help put on mass.

also peptides like ghrp2 or igf1 could help and not need pct, but they are injection. there is an oral HGH booster called mk677 thats good too.

Sounds like what you are looking for is called Clomiphene.

Lol I do diet and eat well and take creatine, protein ,multi , I'm doing great but I just want a sup that does something more as well, the food info and blah isnt what this thread is for ,im not looking for that kind of information ,i want a supp to aid me and if there arent any well il do what ive been doing ,but thanks for the replies

Beyond creatine, there aren't any. There USED to be, but the FDA took them down. Sorry to break it to you, but the only things that really work are either illegal, require a prescription, or require time/effort.
