Anyone here on TRT and Thyroid replacement hormone(s)?

Where? Or can you summarize what he said?

Could of been Todd or IMT staff as I looked through the search function and didn't find it under Daniel's posts.
But I stand by my post. There was mention by IMT in regards to sodium/TRT.
They basically said they've had patients react negatively with higher sodium and being on TRT.

Any idea what the mechanism mechanism is for this? Any studies? Except for the hematocrit and estradiol potential issues it seems to defy logic.

PM them and ask.
They know more than me and are the right source to ask.
They treat alot of Men so I'm all ears when they speak.

I was just trying to understand where you were coming from. You stated it so confidently. It sounded like you were basing it on something more than just repeating what someone else had said earlier.

I think you are reading too much into it.
Give IMT a shout and inquire.
They brought it up on here a while back not me.
It makes sense that someone who is not dialed in on TRT will carry more water retention on them (androgens and estrogens play a role in this) and if the individuals estradiol is not dialed in it's not a good thing to eat higher sodium.
I have noticed being a bit more red in the face if eating anything a tad salty while on TRT. I avoid reg. Salt for this reason.

Forums are a blessing and a curse. Sometimes I feel like you guys make this stuff too hard. Take some Iodine supplement, like 12mg a day... and carry on.

There are millions of guys who take 100mg test cyp a week via one injection and nothing else... with no issues. My friend does just that, has never seen hormone forum in his life, and lives the dream. Sometimes less information is more :)

Yes I know... look whos talking, I read here daily... but I wish I didn't.

I agree.
12 mg a day is a little steep for Iodine no?
There would need to be symptoms of hypothyroidism to use large doses over a period of a few weeks.
I would use that dose for maybe 2-3 weeks just for IR...
If body temps are low in the a.m. we can conclude there is a state of functional hypothyroidism. Doses of Iodine of up to 50 mg ED has proven effective in as little as 2-3 days to help with symptoms of hypothyroidism.

I was told to take as much as 50mg for a month, then back it off to 12 daily... and it wasn't from a quack Dr.

I don't know whats right - just what I have been told.

I read that too except the cruising at 12 mg ED.
There is 6.25 mg Iodine doses per capsule.
I'd rather cruise on that.
Thing is one doesn't know if it will give them anxiety, insomnia etc....
I've read reviews on ppl reporting anxiousness, mind racing, insomnia etc from taking 30 mg ED of Iodine in supplement form.
Remember we are on TRT also. Overstimulation could be more of a side effect in that case.
