no offense mr h but just in the few weeks that i've been on here i've seen this rule or some variation of it bent, beaten, sometimes downright blatantly battered and when it is done by someone with a high post count everyone just talks on but when a newbie treads anywhere near source info they get a herd of raging bulls stampeding at them and usually get ban hammered right out the back window.
read a post yesterday on which there was a reply made by a well respected guy here dropping a source url outright.
i didn't get a chance to read the original original post, but the latest rewrite seems to be a genuine ask for help, and it seems he had legitimate concerns with hearing one thing but not seeing status updates, then the unfortunate timing of the new site and everyone having to recreate accounts, etc. if he posted that about some random ug lab people would've been all "damn bro, you been had. might show up but don't count on it."
anyway... i'm not here to cause trouble i find that mr h and plenty of others are ready and willing to provide very valuable and much appreciate help to those truly seeking it. i intend to be around here for a while and look forward to having all you guys respond to questions/concerns etc. that i may have and am eager to reciprocate when and how i can. just saying with regards to chatter about "the big 3" there seem to be some real double standards going on that can potentially confuse and ultimately frustrate your average nooby nooberton trying to do some legitimate searching.
