Approx level of TT in blood at time of drawl

I have been on DR rx for T cyp for 3 years. I do my shots 2x per week at approx 65 mg each . I take about .5 mg Anastrozole per week . All is going great . I lift weights every day and put on muscle and dropped fat since starting TRT. I done a few periods of 90mg 2x week - one for summer and one for a hard diet ( to spare muscle loss ) my last blood test I did was 750 TT - my dr wants TT at 500 so he was concerned . He wants me on 100mg per week , so 500 is prob normal at that dose. I started 90mg 2x a week injections 30 days ago ( moderately low carb dieting again ) he wants a T level again . They had a great program to do a daily level calculation ( steroidplot ) but it is gone now - since I have been on 90mg 2x week I did my best to predict time I need to do the drawl after last injection to get a 400-500 reading . I figured on 10 days . Does this sound right .

Why not just tell him 750 is right in the middle of the normal range for TT. Tell him you have been at 500 and you prefer 750 as you feel better at that dose. Say the words that docs love to say "Normal is Normal".

Yeah , I tried to explain 750 in middle . But , DRs don't like to be seconded guessed ( especially by mere mortals ) I don't want to piss him off too much either . He has been very liberal on letting me do my injections and several other meds I use .

Don't second guess him. Show him facts.

You mean he's allowing you to do what he SHOULD be allowing you to do. Sounds like he's undereducated; bring him facts and see what his tune becomes. If he still insists on having you sit in the lower half, then I'd find a new doctor.

he is very aware that 750 is in middle of range . He still wants me at 500 . I am looking for a better dr, but don't want to burn this bridge . So question I have - is my 10 day calculation accurate

Why guess how many days. Just get private blood work and see for yourself. Everyone is different.

The link in my signature will show you how to get private blood work.

500 TT on TRT might have u at a decent free Test level.
Who knows...???
You don't list SHBG or Estradiol anywhere in your post....
Just "750"....
Nor is Free Test shown....

Sorry man, there's ZERO way to accurately predict that. Hormones are metabolized and bound (made inert) at differing speeds in different people. If we were to assume that the logarithmic decay was constant (it's not), it be around 12-16 days. You have to wait one half-life for the higher dose to come down, then one half-life or so for it to stay there with the new dose.

Edit: The advice that's normally given is four weeks, but there's only a 60mg difference in your case. (for folks wondering why the time frame here is shorter)

I don't have levels of free T or estradiol levels or SHBG levels . Keep in mind this is a primary care DR , so he is not to in touch with all these levels . In the beginning of TRT , I had some ED issues and sensitive nipples . I had to find my own source of Anastrozole to combat aromatase - I had a heck of time back then . Went to 3-4 drs and all said ED was from me just getting older , ugh . They did not believe in aromatase of T Into E . These were specialist too . I have a good lead on an ENDOCRINE dr ( I heard they are worst ) who specializes in TRT ( not a anti age clinic either ) he is known to let patients self inject ( why does this seem so unusual to DRs ) he may also understand labs results better too . I see him next week . Btw I don't take HCG either - I have no need for sperm

This is a long debate but pretty much it makes the Dr. Think to himself, this guy has low T and is really advocating for himself.... And he's obviously OK with pinning himself without me even showing him....what's up here?
Is he using this as a front to get gear and workout?

Also some want to bill insurance for injecting u each time for the rest of your life. They want total control over your TRT...
Hence u won't take a 1 mg more than prescribed...

Yeah , I get that feeling from him that he thinks I am juicing . I am and have always been very muscular - 250lbs & 20% body fat at 6ft . Over 18" arms and 48" chest with 38" waist - big legs as well. I bust my butt in gym daily and have flourished on TRT with levels within range - I feel like he is punishing me for looking good. , lol . But he knows me for 10 years and knows I also have miniature testicles too so hypogonadism was primary reason for TRT . Hard to understand DRs but I guess there is liability issues at play here too .
