are military presses dangerous?

I do them with the bar in front of my head, standing up. I always hear about how heavy shoulder excersizes tend to cause rotor cuff injuries, but i wasnt sure if that went for military press also. Should I keep the weight low on these but do many reps? Thanks.

Just do not do them behind the neck--this is an unnatural movement and is more likely to give injury. Same for lat pull-downs behind the neck is a potential injury still to in front of the neck.

You should be OK, for some reason i can not do them stading very well, i arch over too much.

Should have no problem as you are maintaining proper form. I love standing push presses and have been doing them for years. Never had an issue.

they're bad for your rotars only if you have excessive front/back movement of your shoulder. keep it going straight up and down (not too low), with limited front/back "sway". same with incline chest press and pull ups.
