I think I incurred a mini tear on either a shoulder or triceps tendon last Friday. I really didn't feel much pain after the first day, and could use my arm with no problem. Once the swelling went down, it was almost like nothing had happened. I took off until yesterday, when I did chest. I felt no pain, and was able to lift quite heavy with no problems. Today, I attempted to do back, but felt it on my first pulling exercise. I immediately quit, and was able to do shoulders no problem. I have started icing it again. I am planning to not work out back next week, to let it rest. Next Friday, I will attempt to do arms. I have not quit pinning. Does anybody have any advice or have they had this happen before? What did you do? Is it ok to lift lower weight with higher reps?
