Does Research Supply carry Bac Water? I dont see any there and I would think that they would carry it?

If not, where do most of you get it from?

Shit Stiphy, you already probably have everything needed around the house, why not just make your own Bac Water???

That's not a sign of anything except he doesn't know the difference between the two. Doesn't make him incapable of making bac water,,,,:bash:

Bacteriostatic Water

Distilled water
BA
.22 Syringe filter (whatman or any brand)
10ml or large gauge needle
100ml sterile vial
200ml beaker

Steps:

1. Fill beaker with 99ml of distilled water.
2. Add 1ml of BA
3. Swirl mix around for a few. NO HEAT NEEDED HERE.
4. Draw up into syringe
5. Attach filter to end of syringe.
6. Push through filter into sterile vial.

End product is a life time of bacteriostatic water

Thanks Animalized, long time no talk.

I do have all that around the house. Never really thought about making my own. Sounds super easy, thanks.

My question is why add 1ml of BA? Should it be 9mls of BA?

Bacteriostatic water is 0.9% BA (which is about 1% BA).

Our total volume is 100ml (1ml of BA + 99ml of water).
Therefore...

.................. 1ml BA
1% BA = --------------------------
.................. 100ml Total volume
