Back in the saddle...

Omniscient!
I have been out of the gym for about 11 month-12 months...I am getting ready to cycle...I needed to get back into shape. During the time off, I lost a good 20 pounds. I have been back in the gym for about 45 days..my numbers I am listing are low, but I am back on track..my big improvement is my bench from where I started when I got back to the gym.

I started barely able to push 275 on my day back to the gym. I was lucky to get 6 at 225 and 10@135 felt heavy...needless to say I was very dissappointed...

Sooo...I decided to give a try to this routine a powerlifting guy in my gym does.

He does a 3-2-1-1-3-2-1 gig. 3 reps at a weight comfortable, yet working to press, then 2 that you need someone around for, and a single where you may need a spot. Then a single at the same weight, then back to a 3, 2, 1.

He uses it about 3-4 weeks out from a meet.

It has helped me out alot. Along with muscle memory, I am at the following:

Warm up 135*15
225*8
315*3
335*2
355*1
355*1
315*3
335*2
355*1

It is not great, but to come back that far in 45 days, it is great for me...well off from my stats last year before my off time, but getting there...

All my core movements I am running like this except for legs...

It is all coming back together...
