Ok..
So for those of you who saw my post yesterday i went through with the injection, and for those of you who didnt basically i have injected 250mg of test e (1ml) last night. It is my first cycle and i was quite worried about injecting myself.
I decided to inject into my quads, used a 23g 1 1/4" needle. I followed all the instructions, i warmed the test in the needle, used an anti bacterial swab to wipe the vial and my pinning site and slowly pushed my needle all the way into my quad. It didnt hurt, nor did i feel any discomfort for the first 1inch and then after that it felt a bit uncomfortable, i pulled back a small amount (so 1 and 1/8 of the needle was in my quad), then aspirated, no blood came out and then and slowly injected.
As soon as i finished my leg was quite sore, i massaged for around 2-5 minutes and then went to bed.
I woke up this morning with a really sore quad, worst dead leg ive had in a while and it seems to have spread a little down my quad to from where the injection site was.
I decided to take a walk to the gym to see if that would help, but the pain just seems to be worse and im struggling to walk normally on that leg.
My main worries are:
1) Did i inject too deeply into my quad and if so what do i do?!
2) Is this normal and different people react in different ways
3) is there anything else i can do to prevent post injection pain?
4) What should i do now, wait a few days see if the pain dies down and if not consult a doctor?
Not a great expererience for a first shoot!
Thanks in advance
