I'm thinking about becoming a personal trainer. Could anyone recommend any online courses or where I could get more info? Thanks

ACSM and NSCA are the most widely respected certifications. There dozens of different ones, but like I said, these are the hardest to acquire, the most respected. I am sure they sell a review book of the sort

I do some personal training freelance based and i also used to train women powerlifters before moving to Thailand. Dont have any schooling but never kept me from getting work and results.

Scares me to see how many bad pr`s there are that have a certification, especially in Asia. Not saying that there arent good ones too.

Dave Palumbo does an internet certification i believe, cant remember the name but it cant be hard to google it. Supposed to be decent.

Im getting certified this summer I think. I'm in college just trying to get be a nutritionist, figure it will give me more credentials. I live around the Boston area, after talking to a lot of guys who own gyms I was told ACE was the best and the one they would like everyone to see.

Just my 2 cents.
