keep in mind i'm in a bulking phase, not on any cycle, and currently running about 4000-5000 cals but probably more near 5K.. I will have a better idea soon i'm getting a scale that shows nutritional info based on weight and saves the data for the day.. i just sometime have a problem keeping a log

It seems to me that 40% fat for any food is going to be to high. Granted you want to get your calories in, but you need to be concerned with where your calories are coming from...Previous statement would also depend on how many times per week or god forbid day you plan on eating this?

i'll have what she's having :yumyum: :spit:

chicken is way overrated! many times I've been near my calorie limit for the day and sat down and eaten a ten oz top sirloin (all fat trimmed) and a huge salad and then lost wieght the next day anyway. much more satisfying.

Your putting too much thought into it. If you bulking, it's not enough to concern yourself with.. me, I'd just switch it up each time and alternate. Whats your recipe for this to die for meal????

no recipe brolly i just eat the cooked meat

but it is delicious compared to chicken.. chicken is just so damn bland.. even w/ seasoning I Can't seem to eat enough chicken.

lol - you probably weren't at your caloric limit if this is the case. However - remember that losing (or gaining) weight on a scale can be from fat, muscle, or water and depends on the time of the day you've weighed yourself (water and food weight).

Like JayC said - if your not attempting to cut - it's not going to hurt. The fat content is still a little high in my opinion - anyway to trim it down? Personally if I were doing it I would just limit it to a few times a week instead of every day. Sounds tasty though.

I guess the fats are what make it taste so good.. chicken is just so dry in comparason to this meat.. also the fat content may be lower, that was for generic trader joes carne asada.. this is just FLANK STEAK thats marinated.. flank is a pretty lean cut.

what about the cholesterol

when i was in brazil i ate filet's about 4-5 times a week for a month...my shit was thru the roof.

other than that i'd say go for it. beef is delicious.

Can't say I know much about different cuts...I usually stick to chicken. But if it's pretty lean then it's no problem to throw it in.
