Belt or no belt...?

I dont think there is a right or wrong answer, but you always here someone talkin about how it weakens the lower back if you wear one all the time. But then if you dont, like my case, youll jack yourself up. I just wanted to see what everyone said.

if you use a belt properly as well as train your core you will NOT weaken your lower back...

the belt should be tight but not so tight you cant breathe..you should be pushng out on the belt with your abs to create inter abdominal pressure (IAP)
that in itself will give you a fairl good ab workout

good point :)

I only wear a belt for heavy squats, but wear it like BB described. Loose enough to use my core and gain IAP.

btw BB, who is that in your avi?
