Mine are going to be somewhat skewed when compared to other individuals due to my previous level of physical fitness but I'll chime in nonetheless.
#1 - Improved immune system function.
I have not had so much as a sniffle in the past 16 months since I started my Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) program. This was becoming a real issue for me during the 06' - 09' time frame. You see, in my adult life - from age 18 to age 36 I was sick two times in those 18 years. In 06' I started getting sick 2-3 times a year! Now everyone said "Oh, its because you are a professor and you are on a college campus and you are exposed to all kinds of stuff." Well I've been on a college campus most of the past 15 years so I knew that was not it. So, I have noticed a marked improvement in my immunity.
#2 and this goes hand-in-hand with #1 - Recovery ability.
Part of why I believe I started getting colds and the flu regularly in the past 3-4 years had to due with the fact that I was pushing myself in the gym as hard as I always did but my body was having difficulty recovering. This resulted in over training which lead to a reduced immunity to sickness. I haven't had that over trained feeling in a year and I'm still killing it in my training same as ever.
#3 - Improved cognitive function
This is a real biggie for me because I'm a college professor and my job is basically to do academic research. I have to stay cognitively sharp. As my T levels decline in the past 3 years, I noticed it was harder from me to stay on point mentally. Where I never had to work to stay focused it seemed that suddenly I had to actually work to get mentally into the game. Not a good thing when your whole world revolves around being a "big brain" person. So, the Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) has really returned to me my mental focus. Again, I get the wife calling me in the lab asking me when I'm coming home because I'm so into what I'm doing that I lost track of time and its 10 pm already.
Those are the "big three" things for me.
An added benefit for me has been that since I haven't gotten sick or over trained, I added about 8 pounds of muscle back that I lost over the 06- 09 years from getting sick. So, I like that too!
