I think the best bang for your buck are Optimum Nutritions "Opti Pro Meal Bar" from supplementcentral.com, you get 12 for like $10. They taste pretty good to.
20g pro, 40g carbs, and 290 cal (45 from fat). The peanut butter crunch and coconut almond supreme taste great. There's not a whole lot of protein in them but overall I'd say they're a great deal.
I'm not a big bar fan. Far too much crap in them these days. I'd stick with whole foods. Up your protein and your complex carbs in your diet and you'll have no problem bulking.
