best protein powder source??

I have been buying GNC's wheybolic xtreme 60 or whatever and it's a good product but I think its overpriced and im sure there is a way better deal out there.

is there like a protein source you guys know of where I can buy like a 50lb bag or something and have it shipped in the mail and get a really good discount on it?

best I can find is 10lb bag for 100 bucks from optimum nutrition on amazon

I was using solidmuscle's (board sponsor) stuff for awhile, but I kind of have a love/hate relationship with their whey. It has a good consistency, but as I like to put ice in mine to make smoothies - it gets kind of thick like jell-o. Hard to find a better deal though. I'm currently buying 6lb tubs of Muscle Milk (I'm in LOVE with their cookies and cream collegiate formula) for around 40 bucks from amazon and have been pretty happy.

GNC will eat your wallet every time and I avoid them unless I'm dumb and don't order in advance. I'll sometimes go to walmart, but I can't drink their stuff anymore and they never have my flavors of muscle milk. :( ON makes a really good powder, but crimony are they expensive!

6lb for 40 bucks that beats the 10lb for 100, what is the nutritional content of it per scoop if you happen to know off the top of ur head? also congrats on 5000 post lol.

got banned for not pcting :( feelsbad

You just have to think about the audience that reads our posts. I don't PCT either, but I always make sure to mention I'm on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) so folks don't think it's okay to cycle irresponsibly. ;)

its a crime not to pct! :soap:

I got mine from protein factory on sale, 2-10lb bags for $63 a piece. Some crazy amount of servings and 25g/serving with a good BCCA and EAA profile I believe. Truenutrition also has pretty good deals.

i usually just buy elite dymatize, buy 8 5 pound tubs, but now im sick of their flavours and got 2 tubs left over, dont even drink protein powder anymore, but will get back into it sometime in teh future, heard mp has awesome tasting protein

Opt N has 154 servings in there ten pound bag though. theres 32 servings in the muscle milk 6lb. I guess it depends if you want the extra carbs in your shakes.
That's a good point, I had never realized the servings difference. I swear ON used to be 2 scoops too, but apparently not. Nice find, I stand corrected. :)

theres only 3 carbs in OPT N though. muscle milk has that good 2/1 ratio. so it depends what you need it for.

I personally take 1/4 serving of OPT N serious mass with one scoop of there whey to give me the 2/1 ratio

Optimum Nutrition has some of the best flavor IMO. Their chocolate especially tickled my taste buds nicely. My favorite shakes are ON chocolate whey, milk, oats, PB, banana, Granny Smith apple, raspberries, and spinach.

You lost me at spinach. :Puke: :p I'll eat the stuff, but NO WAY is that going in my lovely cuisinart!

Would I get you back if I said to include ice cream :D?! I thought spinach would be gross in a shake, like it other ways, but a half cup or 1/4 cup in the shake adds much needed vitamins and minerals to my diet plus I do that right before the gym so the added MG in spinach and K in bananas help with the workout.

Still makes me queasy thinking about it lol. Trust me, I used to mix all sorts of stuff into the blender, but prefer just eating them as whole foods now. I weep at the thought of ice cream as I bloat up just smelling the sweet fragrance of sugar and fat in a tasty cold dish. :(
