which types of nuts have the highest forms of EFA's, and protein? is there a sufficient amount of protein in nuts, or just EFA's? just place which ones are best for the body, and which are worst (bad fats) in order. peanuts, almonds, cashews, pistashios, soy, deez.....cant think of any others, but feel free to add here.
thanks! ive been eating alot of all of these, but im not sure which ones i should watch for, i just eat less of the salty ones.

I like almonds and they are a great snack when I am bulking, but I eliminate them when I am cutting.

don't forget seeds like sunflower and pumpkin. both are good sources of efa.

also, nuts are incomplete proteins (they don't have a full amino profile), so you try to make sure to take in something like chicken breast or a whey shake when you eat nuts.

I like to eat unsalted almonds.....Good snack to eat with a shake....

1/4 cup or about a handful is about 15 grams of fat I think and 7 grams of protein....
They fill you up real good...

Any reason for not eating them while cutting?

They are a typical snack food for me, I eliminate snack foods during cutting, plus they have a fairly high amount of carbs. I eat a shitload of unsalted or lightly salted almonds when I am bulking.

deez .. nuts..

sorry i had to say that for some reason .. haha.

Walnuts are the healthiest. It doesn't take very many walnuts to get the equivalent Omega 3's as a solid portion of salmon. Most people get enough Omega 9's and 6's in their diets, but are deficient in 3's.

almonds and peanuts will give you a very good balance of poly and mono- unsaturated fats. i forget which contains more of which but if you eat both you dont really need to know.
