Hey there, i'm new to your forum although i was wondering what you guys think is the series of rep and sets to build mass on the chest while bench pressing. I am currently doing 5-6 sets, 3 of which are mega sets (6-8 reps) and 2 of which are sets of 10 reps. Which way do you guys think is the best way to build mass?
Thanks.

Yeah, well my chest excercises consist of
incline dumbell press
bench press
incline dumbell flys
& weight dips
but i was wondering the best way to add mass by working the bench press in particular.

Here is what I found, make sure you focus on moving the weight with your pecs rather than delts and tri's. It has taken me years to realize this is the reason my chest is lagging. I checked my ego at the door, decreased the weights, and re-learned how to properly bench press.

As for reps, I usually do 4 sets 6-12 reps.

Also, when you press make sure your ass and back stay planted on the bench. Keep your ego in check, and use weights that you can handle. You'll get better results that way.

Beat me to it.

couldnt have said it better myself
I personally like to do incline flys, flat bench flys, incline bech and decline bench.. dips are great too

I read an article on bench exercise that works great for me. It took me 5 times reading to figure it out. Instead of "pushing" the bar concentrate on your elbows (instead of your hands) and (using the very same movement) "pull" your elbows together in front of you. The focus is now on your chest instead of your tris.
