they are supposedly low fat and healthier thenn regular burgers. Anyone have an idea on the nutriton facts of them?

Don't have specifics, but they're high in protein and very low in fat. Almost like an extremely lean cut of beef. The only thing, they're a bit dry compared to beef, so use bbq sauce, ketchup, and lots of milk do drink on the side. :P
They're good 4 u bro and will help ya pack on lbs of muscle if ya can afford the meat. I know a guy who raises them, so I get meat for $2 per lb. and u can hardly buy beef 4 that, so thats y i eat so much of it. :)

Keep in mind this is a 100 g burger, which is roughly a 1/4 pound, 454 equaling a pound. There are leaner types of buffalo as well though, so you need to be on the lookout for it. Trader Joes has them in the frozen section, they are very good and have a lot less fat being that they are open range animals. Deer meat (venison) is also very good, one of the leanest red meats.

damn, I expected better than that.... I buy 90-93% lean beef for my burgers, the nutrition facts claim 11 grams of fat and 25g of protien per 1/4 lb.

One thing you can always do, which most people don't, is to have a steak ground by the butcher. That way you can pick the meat and view it's fat content beforehand, as in london broil, top, bottom and eye of the round.

Buffalo is way more lean then normal "ground chuck" (80% lean)... problem is nice lean buffalo is as expensive as "ground serloin" (96% lean) so I think you win in with cow.

Nice site. The info matches what I have been using. Thanks. Bison helped me get over a hump with bf%. I pay $5.00 a pound from Central Market in Texas. About half does cook away on the grill.
