Blood test results, would sincerely appreciate feedback / advice

Leiurus

Vae Victis
My blood tests came back today, and will be the baseline for my incoming cycles.

It is the first time I get them done, therefore any inputs would be highly appreciated.

Apologies if they are all over the place, they have been processed by a Thai lab that dispatched the tests so they are not necessarily well organized.

Results in red. I'm 38yo.

I'm very pleased to see that my test is in the high range but these Cholesterol numbers freak me out a bit...Also a but worried by the abnormal Sodium / Potassium figures.

I wouldn't be freaked out by your lipid numbers. Your HDL is good. Just add some soluble fiber to your diet and it should help bring your LDL down.

How many bananas are you eating a day? Are you supplementing a lot of potassium?

I'm not sure about sodium.

Looks good otherwise.

Are you supplementing potassium or taking some kind of potassium sparing diuretic? Your lipids aren't too bad, the hdl is decent. Creatinine and BUN are a little high, are you drinking enough water? you can get these values from dehydration, i have before. Estradiol looks excellent, test looks great. Cardio can help improve your lipid profile. Is this natty/pre/during/post cycle blood?

The bun/creatinine/sodium/potassium could all be related. Sodium and potassium control water balance in your body, your kidneys control the excretion of those two minerals. Let's get to the bottom of this, i'm interested :xmas:

Thanks Mega

Yes, that's what I'm gonna do because truth is that I don't eat much solube fibers...Time to change this habit I guess.

I'm eating ZERO banana / day :D...Actually I'm not eating any fruits, which is why I supplement Vit/Min but really nothing crazy, a tablet of multi-vit/minerals and 1000mg of Vit C a couple of hours before work out.
I got no clue where this crazy potassium comes from.
I don't know if the low blood sodium is diet related, it is true that I never had salt to my food and that I almost never eat processed food but I thought it was healthy.

I might not drink enough water...I think I drink enough but I probably don't take the high dehydration rate here under the Thai Sun in consideration...

I train weights 4 times a week and do cardio 40mn HIT twice a week, never cardio and weight the same day, Friday is my day off.
It is natty. I did 3 cycles but it was 5 years ago. Test, test/eq, Test. Moderate doses and lenght every time, I never ran more than 750mg/week of gear and actually I don't think I will, 750mg is already high in my book, at 750test/week I didn't see more gains, just more sides (water retention).

My diet is the same every day, I'm not bulking, just getting back in good shape, body recomp.

Breakfast: 6 whole eggs (scrambled), 100g ham, cheese, 2 whole weat toasts, 1 spoon PB
Lunch: 1/2 roasted chicken, rice
preworkout shake: just protein (40g) + milk
post WO shake: same + one scoop of ice cream for the suger kick
Dinner: same as lunch

Nothing crazy, really...

Those are impressive natural test levels for someone who has cycled before, good genes. :) You're in a great place health wise. I would up the water, you definitely have much higher requirements. Just living in a hot ass place like thailand would probably warrant a higher intake of water but you are extremely active, so maybe bump that up a bit. I can't think of why you potassium is so high. Do you have a low sodium diet?

Maybe you should confirm the potassium result again before you go crazy trying to figure out what is going on. Make sure you hydrate well for the three days leading up to your blood draw.

Yeah, raising my water intake was in my to-do list anyway...

I def have great genes, super fast metabolism, a pain to gain weight put I virtually can't get above 18% BF whatever my diet is. Back in HK I had the most awful diet ever, McDonalds 3 times a day and beers every evening, zero activity, and I stayed quite lean, around 16%, not bad for a soon-to-be-forty guy :) It was driving my colleagues crazy to see me gulping burgers and beer without putting on fat.

Regarding the test levels, I'm by no mean a steroid guru, but I also think that's there a reason why people shouldn't cycle before 25...I ran moderate cycles, with good PCTs and never used high doses or highly suppressive compounds. Call me pussy but IMO unless you're competing it is overkill.

I'm not running a low sodium diet...Actually I expected to have a fairly low sodium as I don't eat processed food and don't add salt to my meals, but not THAT low...Quite a mistery TBH.

But thank you guys for the inputs, I was quite worried by the lipid profile when it saw the result, I had the worst bad-luck week end ever, it is the first good news since Friday.

Will do, if my dear fellows at the customs stop to seize my parcels I'll have some GH to test soon, I'll add the potassium / sodium to the list to see where they stay.

Looks like being a "pussy" paid off for you. A shit load of guys regret flushing their HPTA down the toilet as the result of steroid abuse in their early years. Good for you man, like i said, you're in a good place ;)
