Thyroxinbindingskap. [T4-uptake];P: 0,80

well... Okay so... My SHBG has slowly dropped down! It seems like the higher my testosterone the lower my SHBG? With a T level of 30 my SHBG is usually around 20

But any take on my values? Thanks

Quite sure he did not put it on! Sorry. I will ask for it next time

But i am wondering if why my SHBG went down, when testosterone came up?
When my levels are at about 20-25 SHBG stayes at 25 aswell wich seems like a good place... Could it be due to me being over the normal values of testosterone?

Yes, over time elevated T levels can cause SHBG to drop, often resulting in free T levels several times normal.

It's not clear how much of a problem this is... it's possible that low SHBG can cause high free E2 levels.

A short run of Nolvadex can raise SHBG, but I wouldn't do it unless I suspected a problem.

Guess i will wait it out alittle!
Believe im running alittle higher dosages to try combat some of the fatigue i fight from chemo.

It has helped to some degree, but i still soffer some forms of energy collapses! they feel more mental then anything, and have improved some with TRT. I basicly havce 8good hours of energy, and then it feels like i need a nap to reset energy levels....

Libido is still off, sexual arrousal aint really top, not is semen ejaculation volume or sensation hmmm.............

Aromatase inhibitors and exogenous androgens decrease SHBG by function of their properties alone. Easy on self-medicating, and bumping up your dose without talking to your doctor first. They get upset when patients play with doses of controlled substances - then get blood tests. ;)

Try HCG if you aren't already. Alternatively, micronized DHEA/Pregnenolone may help with energy issues as these often decrease in TRT patients.

My .02c :)

The only thing I am afraid of is that HCG og B-HCG was my tumor marker.
I am not sure if those two are the same, and that the use of HCG actually will look like a recurrence.

I also fear that HCG was the trigger om my testicular tumor, DONT TAKE ME ON IT. Maybe it is just me, but i have not discussed HCG yet.

I honestly have not looked into anything along these lines, so I am unsure whether or not HCG would trigger a false positive. I do know that injected HCG is NOT a carcinogen.

Bring it up with your doc, see what they have to say.

Yeah.
Okay guys, im going to have a talk with my doctor:
Main problems during TRT "still abit low energy, libido is alittle off, erection hardness not totally there" just recently i have been feeling alittle cold, im not sure if this has anything to do with the thyroid or just that the weather here in Denmark is changing.

But, i wonna have a full blood panel! Any ideas of what i should ask for next time? Like DHT, DHEAS ect to see if everything with the TRT is going well ?

i have yet to be convinced any of that is needed.. hcg or dhea/pregnenolone

I myself believe that less is more, I am really not much into medicine as ive been stuffed enough with chemo!

I sleep quite well, really well actually! I dont know if a sleep study has to be done. I actually get quite good woods while sleeping, that is abit funny! No idea why.

It comes down to how well your body produces these without an LH signal really. DHEA is a metabolic and neuroprotective hormone responsible for feelings of well-being and mental clarity. It's also indicated in fat metabolization as it has androgenic properties. Pregnenolone is mostly involved in brain chemistry, and responsible for memory/mental clarity. There are other properties these have, but Google can spit out more results than I can off the top of my head.

It's just one of those, "You don't really notice the difference until you try it" type deals in my experience. I still felt a little off after starting TRT; tried micronized versions of those hormones, felt a little better, then tried HCG. Blood tests showed I was low before any treatment for DHEA (I didn't see a pregnenolone test at the time), better on pills, then towards the upper 2/3 of the range on HCG.

Of course, YMMV. :)

Okay guys.
Im seeing my doc in 9days and I really want to prepare for combat and to get a full-blood panel:

So far side-effects:
Low libido
Tiredness around the eyes
Generally feel better in the evening as if i have more energy/less bloat?

I will be adding in T3, but what would you guys want to see to be totally satisfied? As mentioned my SHBG has gone down, and so has some of my thyroid numbers, my estrogene is at the top range.... Im freaking pissed that im not horny as a goat with my testosterone levels, that my wood seems abit off and that my ejaculation isent perfect.

The usual from the TRT sticky, and I'd probably get DHEA, cortisol, FT3, prolactin, vitamin D, and an HBA1C just to top things off.

Ok Im seeing doc tomorrow. I want to make sure that I have everything set for an optimal blood test, symptoms:
Low Libido, Low Aggresion "the good one", Wierd sensation of energy "Alot better when i workout", Tired Eyes
- Basicly the biggest irritation I have is that my energy is still abit off....

- What i will ask for:
THYROID:
TSH
T4
T4 Free
T4 Uptake
+ Free T3 and total T3
+ Thyroid Antibodies

HORMONES:
- Total testosterone
- SHBG
- E2 Sensative
+ DHEA
+ Cortisol
+ Progesterone
~ Prolactin ?????????

This is the list I have come up with so far, im basicly looking to feel better... A sensation of wellbeing, rather then higher testosterone levels as I allreaddy have with border high estrogene... My SHBG has dropped from 25 to 13LOW and my Thyroid have ramped downwards aswell.

Im on a protocol " 2ml Nebido every 2nd week / wich is about 150mg per week " But the I believe the undeconate ester kinda buildups and ramps up my testosterone later on, wich could cause way to high testosterone, estrogene and mess with my SHBG aswell as Thyroid. I am thinking about going for the TEST E or TEST C and inject 50mg monday - thuesday.

Please report in, if i am missing something on my panel.
