body builders back workout???why?

i watch alot of videos over the years and i notice alot of body builders will do back. then later in the week do upper back. why do they do that. why not just do it all at once, ...back is alot of rowing movements and deads and bent over rows...then upper is stuff like..pulldowns ...pull ups...upper hammer strength rows. ....just curious.
 
Because they have been training for a long time, and obviously found that splitting back works good for them.
