I just started to do box squats four week's ago and I love them. I think I will rarely do regular squats again.
What do you guy's think of them, and what are some of your box squat routine's?
Personally I don't think you should box squat everytime unless you have some serious back issues. You'll benefit a whole lot more if you find yourself a nice combination. When done correctly box squats work real well
cant go wrong either way. box squats are great for beginners to teach them good squat form as well.
a combo of boxs/reg/pause works very well for all lifters. throw in some band work on ocassions and you have a complete squat program to build big strong legs.
I generally do just box squats, but I only use the box as a reference point for how low I should be at the bottom of the rep. I've found that when I don't have that reference point, I tend to cut it off a couple of inches too high.
