I am toward the end of my second week on 500mg T Cyp/wk.

I noticed a few days ago that my blood pressure was up, went and got it check today. its at 151/81.

Normally I am at 110/60.

I know that your BP goes up on cycle but at this point it feels a little uncomfortable. I can feel the pressure in mykneck and head. I have redness in my face. I even feel a little irratible. Should I decrease my dose? Is this just my body getting used to the higher Test and eventually my BP will go down a little?

BP does not always go up on cycle. You SHOULD be concerned. ive ran some pretty high dosages and my BP has never been elevated. How did you check your BP?

One of the most important side effects of testosterone replacement therapy can be an increase in the red blood cell mass and hemoglobin levels. Men who develop increased hematocrit can donate blood to decrease their blood cell mass.

so its either that ^^^^ or your diet that is off and you may be holding too much water.

Ok, I`m on a bulking diet, I try to avoid salt , I am eating salt tho. I am drinking lots of water and drinking protein shakes.

If I am retaining water which is causeing my BP to go up then should I take my Adex which is on hand for signs of gyno?

I checked my BP with a pressure cuff at the pharmacy

i do that too, and got very concerned. my bp was like yours on the cuff 150/80 ish.

went to the doc, and on his i was 126/75.

those pharmacy ones do not work very well once your arm gets past the 15" range imo.

go get it checked by a doc or nurse. if its still high, then worry.

126/75 aint so bad....but did you feel it?? Like I said , I can feel it is up.

I agree, i would either go to the doc, or buy one of those electronic ones at the Pharmacy, those are accurate.

its digital i think they are like 60 bucks. The first thing i would do is make sure it was up, then i would use an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) and donate blood to see if i could get it in normal range.

Ok, I`m gonna go get checked at the Dr. and see what they get for a reading. If it is high then I should go on the Aromatase inhibitor (AI) right away or donate the blood 1st?

the thing also with checking the BP is to do it at least 10 times to get the base each time is going to be diffrent.
have a doc check you out or get one for yourself like OAk stated.

Also, what about diet should I be doing? I know salt increases BP and also makes you retain water which increases BP, but what else can I do. ?

You should be on hawthorn berry extract, garlic caps and CoQ10 tablets during cycles for BP control brother. Get some to kick it off, If it does not help, you will need an Ace Inhibitor to lower your BP.
Your dr can script that out for you. Our sponsers on here dont stock Ace's. The ace will help the vessels to relax the fuck up :) also you should be on at least 10 glasses of water ED during an aas cycle.

Thanks to all!

Thanks for giving me your input guys.
I just got back from the Dr. and had my BP checked. It was 130/82 the 1st check & then ten min later it was 120/74. So that is a little higher than my norm but its not bad. I used that f#cking BP cuff at the pharm and it said 151/81......way off. Thanks Oak/Cyto for steering me in the right on that one.
Just to play it safe since I do have some elevated BP I`m gonna drop my coffee in the morn. It was only an 8 oz cup but I`ll do better w/out it. As far as water is concerned I`m doing a gallon a day plus. So I`m good there.

Exactly. I'm an EMT, so I know how to check mine, which I do regularly. The BP cuffs at pharmacies are always higher.

I would continue to monitor it. Check it every day around the same time. Let's say after your first meal, before you do any type of exercise. BP goes up and down so much throughout the day, depending on food, caffiene, and water intake, and activity.

But if you can really feel it, yes it's high. Continue to drink tons of water. Keep your salt low, but don't sweat it. I had minor high BP (140/70 ish) when I was at my heaviest (and fattest), and my doc said that yes sodium can contribute to increased BP, but unless you're taking in extremely high amounts, you're fine. Hope this helps.
