Bros, WTF?

Man this is stupid crazy.

I have been on a TRT protocol (NON-Conservative) Since the last week of April. At first I was dropping weight, feeling better, morning wood, midnight iron and all that jazz. Ok, This is where is gets crazy.

Just under two weeks ago I get sent out to sea on a "baby sitting" job. This oil company needs to set a machine on the sea bed via crane(@9660 ft to the sea floor , deepest well in the world to date), and they want a service engineer on site....in case they have technical issues. This means that yours truly here gets to, basically go on an all expense paid cruise. Minus the booze, women(read cum dumpsters), and casino. But food....oh what?..thats a roger on the groceries! and they arent shy on the steak and shrimp veriety of vittles if you know what I mean. So, here I am with a 4 times a day buffet with some really good food and I start eating. I am eating two or three plates at every sitting. I am talking about competitive eating portions. Did I mention they have Ice Cream. 8 Days I make a complete ass out of myself in the Galley, wolfing down massive amounts of quality food. I get back to my lair, prepared to have gained back some of my lost weight. Nope, net gain 1 Lb. Interesting enough, eating like that made me feel incredible, hard to explain why. It seems like somehow I "turned on" my appetite somehow. Anyone had these type of experiences? I feel like a BEAST! WTF?
 
good times man.... yeah it's always hard to pass up a buffet lol glad you didn't wreck yourself.

so you think the TRT is what kept your body in check?

What's your protocol like?
 
Increased metabolism...yep. lol I can eat like a horse if I want to. Sounds like a fun trip! Did you get your degree in chem or mech engineering? When my T levels were low I had no appetite whatsoever.

As for not gaining any weight...yeah I mean you gotta pound down a lot of food consistently to gain weight. Sometimes if I skip too many Aromatase inhibitor (AI) doses I don't gain as much weight.
 
CJW, did I read in a post that you gained 60 lbs since being on TRT!?

Hawg, I'm jealous.. I wish I could afford the aggressive package! Don't let it go to waste though.. Get your diet back on track
 
I got me "degree" the hard way. I went to roughneck U. I have a trade school education, and a buttload of OTJ.

I am sort of thinking that I should be eating like this more often. My body really responded well to having that much food. Hard to tell really why. I was feeling almost euphoric. Physically I was feeling tight as hell, like I did back in the gap when I was roughnecking at 21. I am thinking I need to get my regular eating habits in line with this in some way. It was awesome!
 
It wasn't processed "fast food" but it wasn't all "green". A lot of meat and potatoes/rice. There were some fried foods in there, and some desserts as well. Most of this was made from scratch type stuff. So, I assume it had less "modified food starch" ect. A little fruit and a little salad.
 
That's weird Mopar? From what I gather, testosterone greatly helps w/ protien synthesis (Muscle growth).. I would think that more of your calories are going towards building muscle; therefore, less calories being stored as fat, allowing you to eat more cals w/o gaining fat..

BTW, judging by his original post, I think Hawgslayer has a few extra compounds in there to help out his metabolism
 
when I've been dieting for a while, I can eat a lot for about 1-2 weeks and get the same effect you described. My muscles fill up, lots of energy, look and feel great. However after about 2 weeks of unrestricted dieting, the fat starts to go on. I think this is fairly normal.
 
I was thinking that it was good to shock the system after caloric restrictions.. I'm just a little afraid of "cheat days" because I tend to go 100% one way or the other.. Personally, I'd rather stay 100% strict to be safe.. But, that's just me?
 
Lol yes. We buy set foods and My wife cooks 3 days worth at a time and then packs it. Breakfast, lean beef snack, lean lunch 1, lean lunch 2, healthy snack and when I get home she makes me lean dinner. Hard not to stick to it lol... Lots of chicken, brown organic rice, organic oats, organic veggies, some organic fruit/nuts and once a day some lean beef.... Always tastes great because she's creative with sauce/spice, of course I'm Not a food person and I eat what I'm given.

yeah 60-65 lbs now lol. granted i was skinny to start.

Good stuff man! That's some good motivation! But I need to lose 60 lbs! Lol but I'm sure if I packed on 60 pounds of muscle, the fat would melt right off my body.. That's incredible man!
