Bulking Question

Ok, ive been doing a clean bulk for the past 3 weeks and its worked. The only problem is Ive continued the cardio and eaten good quality food and still look soft around the middle. Is it possible to do a lean bulk or is it impossible to bulk and stay lean?


I gained about 12 lbs and am clearly bigger everywhere, if i start to lean down from here I think ill be right back where i started. Whats the right way to do this? Put 20 on and take 15 off?
 
u did a clean bulk and u gained 12lbs in 3 weeks??? that's 4lbs a week... u shouldn't be gaining anything more then 1-2lbs a week...

post up the diet again welt.. we need to tweak it
 
Will do, Ill post it up late tonite or tomorrow. Its been pretty damn clean with the exception of 2 days in the last 3 weeks.

Then today was off the hook eating. I wont even go there cause it was a REAL dirty bulk today. Probably 10k cals but thats another story.

you either wanna get big, or be lean. Pick one and get there. You can always be shredded later.

Its alot easier IMO to drop fat while maintaining muscle than it is to do a lean bulk. Actually the term lean bulk is kind of stupid to me.

Yea i am pretty sure I couldnt do much different than i did. I did it as cleanly as possible with a few bad meals. It worked but just a little softer than i want to be. Gotta strip a few pounds before cabo in 2 weeks. :)

The 15 beers and wings, chicken parm, pasta vodka, birthday cake and chips and shit are gonna hurt tomorrow. Im gonna pull an RJ and hide the fucking scale til next week lol.

btw, nice work on the added pounds. Sometimes that's all you need to get going on the MASS train.
