c9-t11 reviews real? Get the truth here...

Ology Members,

Ive been hearing alot about this C9-T11 product with people coming to our site to ask "what we think about it", so I went to check it out. Needless to say, I'm pretty shocked that plain ol' CLA is being sold for such a high price.

I see that "C9-T11" is in fact pure Conjugated Linoleic Acid commonly referred to as CLA. This is a fatty acid that has been sold on the market for years. We sell it in a bag at a very competitive price. (lowest price on the net last time I checked)

Here is a quick comparison of C9-T11 to our CLA -

CLA by Primordial Performance
112 softgels
1000mg CLA per softgel
$8.95

C9-T11
60 softgels
1000mg CLA per softgel
$37.00

So there you go. Supplement facts of both products are below.

I have been using CLA for years, and have never understood why there is such a large amount of price variance.

Ology Members,

Ive been hearing alot about this C9-T11 product with people coming to our site to ask "what we think about it", so I went to check it out. Needless to say, I'm pretty shocked that plain ol' CLA is being sold for such a high price.

The name "C9-T11" suggests that it's not just plain ol' CLA--if they've isolated cis,9-trans,11 from the twenty-eight (or so) isomers of CLA, that could explain the price difference as well.

Their packaging doesn't seem to discriminate between isomers, or even indicate the levels at which they are present, so it remains conjecture at this point--and leads me to question their reliability.

They also appear to be backing the wrong horse. According to most clinical trials, the more biologically active of the two most common isomers is the t,10-c,12 isomer:
This particular isomer [c,9-t,11] is associated with some neuronal benefits and could potentially be neuroprotective (understudied) and is associated with increased insulin sensitivity and glucose control; it is not associated with increased lean mass, decreased fat mass, or inflammation like the other isomer [t,10-c,12] is.

Various studies indicate that a mixture of isomers--as occurs in nature--appears to provide the greatest benefits to bone health and muscle metablolism:
Interestingly, t10c12 appears to also benefit muscle mass in rats when compared to c9t11 when both are 0.5% of the diet in mice although all groups (both isomers, and a mixture) were better than control.[72] The mixture (both isomers at 0.25%) was the best, suggesting synergism between the two isomers in this regard.[72] These effects may have been secondary to t10c12's better benefits to anti-oxidant enzymes in the muscle cell. Other studies implicate t10c12 as the active isomer in increasing endurance running capacity in mice due to partitioning energy usage to fatty acids rather than glucose, causing an indirect preservation of glycogen.

Price aside, the superior labelling and appropriate combination of CLA isomers would compel me to purchase your product. If you don't mind a little reading, there is a review of the scientific literature at
