calculated cheating

Hey all,

just wondering, on cheat days are you meant to just eat anything in sight? Ihave heard claims of ppl getting shredded even after consuming something ridiculous like 10,000 calories on cheat days. Do your meals on cheat days have to be meticulously calculated when following a strict diet? Or can you demolish anything you see and shock the metabolism even further?

Any detailed thoughts Frosty or therm? Or anyone else for that matter?

Are you trying to lose fat or gain muscle? I've heard of people doing 10,000 calories when trying to gain muscle, but not when losing fat. I don't think your body can really process carbs at that rate, so if you're trying to lose fat, it might possibly cause some fat gain.

Also, about eating everything in sight, I don't recommend it. While Chips Ahoy might have an anabolic effect if you're trying to gain muscle, it has no real nutrient content, and contains bad fats such as hydrogenated or trans fats. Lots of junk food also contains vegetable oils such as soybean oil, rapeseed oil, safflower oil, etc, along with white flour and white sugar. This foods are a negative in the nutrient department.

im trying to lose bodyfat. I will start my diet in a couple of months. So how does one go about cheat days? Isnt it a good idea to shock the metabolism? I was planning on cheating once a week 3 weeks into my diet.

i wasnt planning on a ckd diet frosty, however i may consider it. My question is, will a junk food day benefit me if im eating lean all week by further stimulating metabolism?

cheers

Nah, stick with the clean foods. High calories and carbs will help stimulate the metabolism. It's always good practice to eat clean.
