Calories While On: How Low Will You Go?

Curious because I've got a friend who won't go below 10x his bodyweight, no matter what he's on, and another who'll drop as low as 8x LBM (which is pretty low) if he's anabolically "protected". How do the rest of you approach this? And what's your rationale?
 
Testosterone and _most_ other anabolics have nothing to do with burning fat. But they can certainly help one keep up their LBM while cutting.

Different people are different. Genetics, fitness, diet, LBM: they all play significant roles in a persons ability to cut.

Regarding that friend that won't go below 10% bf....with enough cardio and good enough of a diet...a maybe a little bit of help (ECA, Clen), he should be able to get below 10% bf. If he can't, then maybe he should get a bloodtest for TSH, free T3 and free T4 to check for thyroid issues.

Very true Mranak I just switched my cycle to a cutter after an 10 week bulker I put on 15lbs and now added in Winstrol (winny) and Clen and am gonna cut for the last 6 weeks at approx 8X +/- body weight in Cals Ive dropped from 210 to 202 in a little over 3 weeks and will try to get to about 190/195 by the time my cycle ends while maintaining my muscle.
