Can anemia affect my muscle gain?

Help pls!! Ive been hitting the gym more than a year and i had anemia before i hit the gym, and still have it.
I was wondering if its the main cause of being thin and not gaining too muscles like other natural bodybuilders do..
Im 18 years old just if someone wanted to know..

Anemia in guys is pretty rare. If it's mild, it's probably not affecting your gains much, if at all. What's your physician say to do about it/about your yearly blood tests? I would say just make sure you get vitamin C and iron daily (the C helps you absorb the iron). Also, post up some info on your nutrition and exercises so we can critique and let you know.
(It also takes several year of training to build lots of muscle. If you just started a few months ago, don't worry, you'll be there pretty quick at your age, youth makes it easier to gain)
 
Having anaemia will of course cause thin and weak body
anaemia is mostly caused by malnutrition or loss of blood ,,, in both conditions you don't deliver enough nutrition to your body and muscles
first let's make a CBC and find out the haemoglobin percentage and the type of anaemia
not all anaemias are due to iron deficiency ,,, so iron shouldn't be given blindly
