I forget what the actual agent is, no wait it's alprostadil, which is PGE, a vasodilatory prostaglandin. It's supposedly like instant wood that lasts several hours regardless of stimulation. I think porn actors use it a good bit.
To further make your skin crawl, there is also Muse, which is a slender urethral suppository (no wait, wait, keep reading!). It's inserted into the pee-pee hole (sorry about the medical jargon) and it too is a prostaglandin. Major wood in a few minutes!!!

Some overseas sources are promoting and selling caverject as a last minute spot improvement on weaker muscle groups. Somewhat like Esiclene except it is only used right before going on stage. I have no idea if it will actually work for this purpose though.

Injected normally with a 30g pin to minimise pain. Doseage varies wildly - some people get a stonk with as little as 0.2ml, others can require 2ml. Problematic side effect is priapism where the erection does not subside and requires e r treatment.

This is done by (wait for it!!) drawing copious amounts of blood from the shaft to make way for the antidote (usually Arimin (sp?)).
