Can Tren Ace be used in lieu of Test Cyp for TRT?

Approximately 3 yrs ago I was diagnosed with Hypogonadism/Low Testosterone by my Endocrinologist. (For those who are curious I can check my actual lab values. Both from the tests he ordered and the required independent confirmation testing).

Initially I was treated with Androgel for a period of about 6-12 weeks before I was able to convince him to let me pin Test Cyp at home on a 200mg/3weeks schedule. This in and of itself led to various peaks and troughs of the Testosterone in my system and I switched doctors approximately 18mos ago, to one who increased my dosage and frequency to 200mg/1wk.

Approximately 6-9mos ago my Health Insurance ran out and I've been buying what I can from one local source or another to maintain my dosing schedule and self-treat.

At the moment all of my local sources appear to be dry and I've run out of Test Cyp as of 3 weeks ago leading to a return of all my old Low T Symptoms. (If you Google Low T, I nail pretty much every symptom.) Up until now, I've been doing fine and was finally returning to my old pre low-T self!

My question is, I currently have a bottle of Tren Ace (80mg/ml) that I was holding for a future cutting cycle. Can this be used as a substitute for Test Cyp until I can get more. And, what dosage of Tren Ace would equate to my previous Test Cyp dose?

NOTE: I am aware that the Acetate ester would require me to pin EOD and that Trenbolone has a a binding affinity for the Androgen Receptors 5x that of T but is 40mg of Tren Equivalent then to 200mg of Test?

I dunno man, I havent tried tren a but most people I know who use it say it makes them feel like shit, while I know test makes me feel great.

If your source ran dry, you could try a Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) clinic (such as Maximus) for your test. The cost is better than some UGLs and you know youre getting a clean product thats properly dosed.

In short, no. Tren without test is a nightmare. Forget about getting a hard on as your
prolaction levels with be through the roof. Constant pinning...

Go to the Dr's office, have them bill you, ($45 where I live with no Insurance)
Get a shot and a script of cyp that day. Script was like $65 at my local pharm.

No man.. First off it is definitely not approved for TRT. I think for a good reason.. It's not Test and the side effects are insane.. If you truly have low T and want to improve your physial and mental health, then get it treated properly..

there has been talk of tren getting approved for testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) use, however it's not as of right now. As was stated earlier, tren without test is a huge mistake. Just like deca without test, or anything without test really.

I'm currently looking into Maximus and other Anti-aging/TRT outfits. I wish I had the insurance so I could go back to the doctor! My doc runs somewhere between $75 - 150 for the office visit. My old scripp of Test Cyp runs about $100-120 out this way. Blood work is in the $3-400 range.

Yeah, that's what I was afraid of. Thanks all for the insight! 4wks without my regularly scheduled shot + the return of old symptoms has had me a bit desperate.

TRT stands for "Testosterone Replacement Therapy". Anything other than testosterone as the primary medication is not TRT.

very true. I thought someone had posted a study saying that tren was being considered for TRT. I thought it was odd but didn't seem out of the realm of possibility.

I had posted that study. It was just by some sports scientist and his team. And they really had no goals of getting the drug for TRT. From what I have read the drug is toxic. It does not sound like something you'd want in your body over a lifetime. Supposedly it was used in Europe for wasting diseases, but was pulled off the market there too. It is not FDA approved here and I doubt it ever will be. They didn't run blood panels on the mice in that study if I remember correctly. All they really looked at was prostate growth I think, with it because less than testosterone. It also showed superior anabolism to testosterone. There are studies showing it to be toxic to liver cells.

What about Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)? Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) is a much better description of what most of us are doing. I like "hormone replacement" better than "test replacement" just because I don't only use test. Then again these are all just semantics. As long as we're all on a Dr. prescribed protocol (hopefully through Chip), we're all chasing the same thing.
