in my state (DE)you just can't walk in and give blood,the blood bank needs proof from my doc. that i have hemochromotosis, before i can give blood, and my doc. won't give them the ok to do it, cause, i'm only border line on this issue, so i have to go into the (danger zone) to donate blood, what a fucking hassle

what do you do IF the military says you cant give blood due to where you have been stationed? they said since i was in certain areas, that i CANNOT donate blood!

haemochromatosis patient needs to decrease his RBCs because they produce iron when they break down and since iron precipitates in his liver cells he needs to donate blood and take iron chelating agents such as EDTA
