Any of u guys have a set time where u stop eating carbs??
If u workout late, so have to eat later in the evening(sure your body still needs carbs&protien after a hard workout) do u think the carbs u consume then will go straight to your gut???

Don't typically have a carb cut off per say-

I try and get 6 meals / day in.

With the majority coming from 3 meals (Breakfast, Preworkout, Postworkout). I'd say that makes up about 65% of my Carbohydrates.

The other 35% comes from the other 3 meals.

And again it depends on the person. some would do better with their carbs spread evenly over all 6 meals. Some even less. Lots goes into play

i was just curious, cuz right now i'm kinda on a low carb high protein diet cuz i wanna tone up a bit. ANyways, with my work schedual the way it is, i usually don't get my pwo meal till about 8-9:30pm and go 2 bed at about 11pm, then up at 7am. :S
So far I haven't noticed any fat gains at all, but I was curious if eating carbs that late at night would eventually lead to fat gains.

i make it a general rule when cutting to try and eliminate bad carbs after 4pm or so and stick with greens after that.

what all do u mean by bad carbs?? I'm usually just taking in whole grain breads, brown rice, and stuff like that. I dont' eat junk food.

I cut my carbs at 5pm because I workout in the morning. If you are working out at, lets say 7pm, I would cut the carbs at 3 or so and have my regular pwo shake with carbs. The pwo shake/meal is so important imo, that it will make or break your results.

IMO cutting off carbs is only important if you didn't lift later in the afternoon....or if you aren't lifting at all that day. Otherwise, if you workout late at night, you still need PWO nutrition.

all summer i worked out from 8-10 and i would eat my post workout meal ...whcih had cabs \protein....i think its essential that you post workout meal should be carbs and protien no matter what time of the day cause you muscles will soak up the carbs like a sponge...
