I know from experience that if you up your carbs and leave your protein the same, you gain weight and get stronger. What if you left your carbs the same, but upped your protein? Would the same thing happen? If not, what would happen?

Please, ONLY ANSWER IF YOU KNOW THE ANSWER FOR SURE!!!!!!

I know what happens if you up everything, but im trying to figure something out about my own body.

Thanks.

You can't answer the question for sure, because you would need a lab in order to figure it out. To even place a guess someone would have to know your history, and your macro breakdown.

There comes a point when protein is not broken down into ATP and used for energy, it is just excreted (wasted), or even stored as fat.

Bro you didn't even let 4 hours elapse, you know the diet forum isn't that hoppin'. :laugh4:

lol, well it should be!

I tested it out on myself with the carbs. Upping carbs and leaving everything else alone makes you stronger and bigger. Didnt need a lab for that.....

Maybe the same thing would happen but you would turn out looking slightly different in the long run.... I will see and let you guys know...

We all know what would happen if we upped our fat only... hehe. Im just curious about the protein compared to carbs....Ah, i will see....
