Is it ok to drink 2x carbodrinks a day to reach he calorie + on bulk? i drink 1 shake during workout 500-600 calories and 1 post workout 500-600 calories mixed with protein powder so i get like 1000 calories from shake each day is this bad?

Macro is the general word used to describe grams of carbs, protein and fat. Eat more, get you Carb and protein macros from food, not shakes.

I fully understand the idea of macros, and to some degree even micronutrients... Unfortunately, I'm on my phone today, so my apologies for not writing out a better detail of it's definition.
And yes Tomatoe, to a certain degree shakes are a bit like junkfood IMHO... While they contain the macros required to grow, that's literally about it. Real, unprocessed food contains better overall nutritional value. If I have some time later on a real computer I'll try to pull up some factual information about that, unless someone wants to jump in and do that now. (By all means!)
